Soak in the shared hot tub, relax in the living room while watching cable or a movie, and prepare delicious meals in the full kitchen during your stay.

From the fresh powder to the base being over 9,600 feet up, your experience at Brian Head will please every guest. No matter what your skill level, there are options for everyone among the downhill skiing, snowboarding, and the newly opened snow tubing run.

After a long day exploring the mountainside, cozy up on the sofa for a nap by the fireplace, to play games across the coffee table, or watch a movie on the flatscreen cable TV.

When the sun goes down, find a comfortable place to sleep in either of the two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed and the other has a queen-size bed and a set of twin bunk beds. Each of the six guests can sleep well here among the four beds.

There are two full bathrooms available and even a washer and dryer! And please remember that if you do bring your dogs, there is an associated pet fee.

Snowshoe during the winter and hike during the summer to enjoy the beauties of nature. If you are coming during off season, don't worry - there's a bungee trampoline, a bag jump free fall, and more at the Base Village. If you want to venture a little further, there's fishing, white-water rafting, and breathtaking Utah National Parks within a day trip.

Book this Brian Head snow chalet for a fun-filled family or friend vacation.

* Please note that the nearest hot tub is currently under repair. Guests may use the hot tub in building #3 in the meantime. Thank you!

About Vacasa, UT - Brian Head Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Wait no more-top family spot for beginner skiers

 • 5 of 5

Bring wi-fi hotspot unless you plan to be off the grid. This rental has everything a family could need. Folks running the property were very accommodating. Absolute most wonderful stay for beginners. Very helpful staff. Gotta love that dumb-waiter!!

DATED

 • 3 of 5

Our stay was okay, the place was quite dated. There were things that needed fixed, like the bedroom heaters, which matters in -17deg weather. The kitchen lights kept turning off which wasn't ideal. The covered parking was nice.

Owner's Response: Maintenance will inspect the heating and kitchen lights. We apologize for these inconveniences.

Serviceable but dated

 • 1 of 5

The property was in fairly poor shape. The kitchen lights turned off and on when they liked, the heat didn't work in the bedrooms, half the bulbs in the lamps were burnt out or just didn't work, the lights over the bar had to be wiggled to turn on a couple of times. Everything was really dated. A remote control for the DVD player would have been nice. There is a large gap under the door to the back porch which matters when it's -11F outside. The broken bunk bed on the back porch was a nice touch.

If someone is staying for 7 days, having enough dish soap, garbage bags and dishwasher detergent would be really nice. These are extremely inexpensive items that would have prevented a trip to the store for us and improved our stay. What does a kitchen garbage bag cost? A couple of cents maybe? Are people stealing these when they go home? Dish soap? My god. I would think you would want to encourage cleaning not hinder it by skimping on the soap. Come on!

The best part of Giant Steps was the under building parking for snow and freezing also the kids enjoyed the clubhouse.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to read about so many disappointments this guest experienced. The kitchen lights do turn off by themselves in order to cool down after being left on for long periods. We have inspected the bedroom heaters and found them working; they operate via the knobs on the units. All lamps have working bulbs, but some are operated by light switches. We have noted all these quirks in the house so they are no longer an inconvenience for our guests. The lights over the bar have been replaced and are now working every time. We have ordered a DVD remote, as well as a door gap replacement piece, and the bunk frame has been removed. Thank you!

Hot Tub Out of Order

 • 3 of 5

The main feature on the ad is the hot tub. I picked this place specifically for it. The hot tub was broken for over half of our stay. A hot tub in a ski town is a significant amenity. At the price being charged for this property, fixing the tub should hve been a priority. Prior to renting this unit, ask the status of the tub and what Vacasa will do in the event it's not working. I have no proof, but the tub appeared to be working. The local HOA put a lock on it and a sign that said broken indefinitely. I feel they did not want to share it with the out of town guests, but again, that's only my opinion.

Owner's Response: We apologize if the HOA made use of the hot tub difficult. We will ask that they keep us apprised of any hot tub shut downs or maintenance. Thanks!

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see there was an issue with the hot tub during this visit. The HOA neglected to inform us there was work being done on the hot tub. There is a secondary shared hot tub guests are welcome to use. We have updated this information so it is accurate for guests during this time. We wish the guest had called for assistance so we could get them the new information.

Spacious and very comfortable condo. Conveniently located close to fishing, hiking, and a variety of summer fun activities for the whole family. Hot tub was an added bonus! We loved that we could bring our dog with us!
