Cozy
It’s a cozy cabin! The kitchen has all the essentials you would need. The oven did not work however and a technician came to try to fix it who had no idea what he was doing. It never got fixed which was a huge bummer for our dinner plans.

Beautiful place to stay overlooking the river.
We loved staying at this home away from home. It has lots of beds to choose from, some are uncomfortable, but it is wonderful for each person to have their own space. We definitely want to stay here again. Oh, and it is pet friendly, which is the icing on the cake. I'm so glad we found such a nice pet friendly place to stay.

Great location with plenty of beds. It is also pet friendly which is a huge bonus. The location over the river is very peaceful and beautiful. Only negatives are that the bigger beds are too soft, and that the wood stove is difficult to keep going.

Charmingly rustic, but POORLY MANAGED!!
This is difficult to write, because you can feel the love that once was a part of this little cabin by the river. All you need do is look around at all the personal touches, and you will know how much the family treasured this retreat. But, things change, circumstances change, and this beautiful family asset is now a filthy, undermaintained, unsafe rental. The carpet is absolutely disgusting. The deck is in desperate need of replacement/repair, and the outdoor furniture has months of caked on dirt and grime. The kitchen stove was so greasy, it took four applications of the heavy-duty cleaner we found under the sink to clean it enough to be able to use it. One of the twin bed mattresses is off the frame or broken. The coverlet on the queen bed upstairs looked as if a wet dog had crawled up on it and slept. There was dog hair on the couch. There was hair (not ours) in the shower. The slider track, and all window tracks are filled with dead bugs, grime and who knows what else. We reported everything, with pictures to Vacassa, and this was their respose: "Please note that we have not yet received any update from our local staff about these issues. In case we do, we will get back to you". What???? We responded to say that perhaps their local staff should be looking for other jobs. As is the usual Vacassa response, they apologized. Sadly, this family asset is being destroyed by a sub-par management company. Terminate Vacassa!!
