Disappointing
The property was close to the beach and the beach was a a very quiet, clean beach. However, the property description left out some important information. Directly next to the property is a house that is under full construction. Construction equipment and material is everywhere. They were constructing during the week we were there( which is not very relaxing while you are outside on the deck) . As you pull into the driveway there is a port-o-potty, not very appealing. When we were outside on the deck at night there were large cockroaches everywhere. Luckily I never saw any in the house. The last day of our stay an exterminator was sent over. The downstairs bedroom smelled extremely musty and the other bedroom was shown as bunk beds and that was not the case when we arrived. There was also a claim that I damaged the bed, which I didn’t, but assume when the bunk beds were dismantled by the owner it was damaged. The downstairs bathroom shower drain was stopped up. It was fixed but just another inconvenience. The outdoor shower is not private as they attached property has a window that looks down right into it. I would not recommend staying here as nice as the beach is.
