This well appointed 2 bedroom 1 bath "boutique villa" is the larger of two units at the newly renovated House 146 villa property.

The unit is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans (keeping cool is a must), a living room, cable tv, complimentary wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private balcony (perfect for outdoor dinning & relaxing). We also provide beach chairs, coolers and beach towels for your convenience.

Our hilltop location provides fantastic views of the ocean and St. Thomas and ensures privacy for your outdoor lounging.

Bordering Sirenusa resort at the lower entrance, we are a short 3 minute drive from Cruz Bay where there are a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, shops and night time entertainment. The "world class" beaches of St. John are also only a few moments away.

This unit has a queen bed in the main bedroom, a full-size bed in the second bedroom (no longer a futon) and sleeps up to four (4) persons.

There is an adjoining (similarly appointed) one bedroom / one bath villa unit on property that may also be booked if additional accommodations are needed. You may view that unit (Sea Grape Villa @ House146) at listing #756329.

We have a private chef and a private 30ft powerboat in-house, along with a network of additional services (airport transfers, island excursions, etc.) that we may arrange in conjunction with your accommodations to create a personalized vacation experience for you. About Wasi Philbert

I was born and raised on St. John. In my younger days I spent a good bit of my time playing on our neighborhood beach (Great Cruz Bay before the Westin was built) and playing baseball on the ball field in town. I left island in my mid-teenage years and moved to mainland USA to chase my dream of becoming a professional baseball player. That didn't quite work out as planned but I received a pretty solid education and a wealth of exposure to other places and cultures across the globe in the process.

I returned home over ten years ago and probably most notably founded a local lifestyle/entertainment brand based on St. John named Love City Live! (Yes, just about all of the local St. Johnians know me and/or my family). It's pretty hard for me to hide on island. I guess that makes me very easy to find if you really need me :).

Accurate description in the listing. Walkable to town but some sections have limited sidewalks & traffic is busy! Recommend renting a jeep with 4 wheel drive.

Very nice rental!

We loved our stay in St. John's. Apartment was very nice, just as described. It is a 15 minute walk to Cruz Bay. There also is a small market just a short walk downhill. I would definitely take a cab back from Cruz Bay. Owner also answered all questions promptly. Very happy with our choice.

Great place to crash at night

As previously mentioned, it is possible to walk to and from the town from this location. However, the hill leading up to this apartment is pretty steep - but it IS possible to walk :) It took us about 15 min to walk to town, and about 20 to walk back to the apartment.

Three of us stayed in this apartment, and while the listing states that it accommodates four, we were surprised to find that only one bed was made. The second room had a futon with no sheets, etc. We did find a package with new sheets in the closet, so made the bed ourselves. There was no second blanket for this bed. This was the main reason for giving a 4 out of 5 rating.

The kitchen does have all essential dishes, cookware, and utensils, but you'll need to purchase all necessary condiments, etc for cooking. Grocery stores are pretty expensive on St. John, so it may be helpful to grab some groceries from St. Thomas before catching the ferry over. Also, there was hand soap and dish soap provided, but no shampoo, lotion, etc.

The owner was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, although we never met her in person.

Great spot!

VERY happy with our choice of this apartment! The space was very clean, current, and well equipped with a lovely view of Cruz Bay sunsets. Shavon responds quickly and professionally while making the arrangements. Travel back and forth via Chico shuttles was a breeze at all hours. Highly recommended!
