La Casa del Pines, nestled among fragrant trees in South Lake Tahoe, welcomes you with a wood-burning fireplace, easy one-floor access, and a furnished patio.
While this home is a dream to stay at, it's also so close to South Shore attractions that you won't spend too much time traveling. Two miles away is Heavenly Mountain Resort and Village for skiing, hiking, shopping, and dining. About the same distance away are Nevada casinos and nightlife like Harrah's. Up the road about a mile is Bijou public golf course. Lake exploration can be had at Camp Richardson just seven miles away.
A group of eight friends or two families will feel right at home here. And, those with limited mobility will feel comfortable with all bedrooms, bathrooms, and social areas on one level. In summer, everyone can share a meal on the patio made on the gas grill or from inside the fully stocked kitchen.
Once the mountain chill sets in, head inside and light up the wood-burning fireplace while a DVD or VHS tape plays, or fill the room with the boisterous sounds of a family board game night. There's a collection of movies and games for everyone, wireless internet, and an included Roku device so you can access your favorite streaming networks on the TV.
Eight guests will sleep well here among the three bedrooms. Two have a queen-size bed each, while a third holds two twin beds. A washer and dryer in the home will allow you to pack lightly.
Visitors to South Lake Tahoe come for the many attractions all within reasonable distance from cozy vacation homes. Ride the aerial gondola, go shopping, catch a massage, or partake in many of the adrenaline-pumping outdoor activities at Heavenly Mountain and Village. Adults will enjoy a night out just a few miles across the state line to Nevada casinos and night clubs.
Make memories while staying at La Casa del Pines!

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
THANKS FOOR EVERYTHING. IT WAS A SPACIOUS CUTE AND HOMY ENVIORMENT FOR MY FAMILY TO GATHER FOR A SHORT TRIP.
3 bedroom single level, easy access to south lake Tahoe strip. Cute big backyard. Lots of games for kids to play.<br />

However, parts of the house were dirty upon arrival, including one of the toilets (yuck). Also, it would have been nice to have some basics like dishwashing soap provided. Lastly, the beds were AWFUL. Springs sticking out of the twin mattresses. My young boys begged us to put 4 layers of blankets under the sheets so that they could lay on the mattresses without the springs stabbing them. Of a house is going to be a vacation rental, the beds and mattresses need to be maintained.
Spacious 3 bedroom house. Nicely updated. Good amenities for a family. Great location on Pioneer - easy to get to town and ski resorts on the south side. Highly recommended.

The house is in a peaceful neighborhood not far from all the places I wanted to go. It’s nice to hang out by the fireplace and watch some movies or play games.
Very disappointed with this house. I came to Lake Tahoe at least twice a year and this is the first and last time I will rent this place. The house was full of dusts, restroom was dirty, kitchen table left with dust and trash on the top of the counter, the first room trash was unclean, the bed sheet was dirty and smelly= we had to put our own blanket and sleeping bag on top of the bed, the first room smell like mold and I do have picture of it. I would recommend the property manager to check the house after the room service clean it.
