2 bedroom, & 1 bath upstairs apartment approximately 1000 sq ft. with 1 space in garage for car. Conveniently located on a beautiful palm tree lined street in an neighborhood of homes valued from 2-6 million. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other bedroom has two extra long twin beds. All furnishings are new ("June 2015) including comfortable beds, leather sofa, dishes, towels, new air conditioning/ heating system. Windows in every room. We also have another apartment equally as nice listed with VRBO that is the downstairs unit in front shown in picture of building.

About Sandra King

My property manager and friend Laurie Zahner, a California native, will be your host while you stay with us. She is a friendly outgoing mom of adult children who loves to use VRBO as a traveler, loves to dance, go camping, and spend time with her husband, family and friends. The last two years she has participated in walking 1/2 marathons with her sister and cousins in different cities around the country. She enjoys traveling. Some of her favorite travels include living in Europe for several years, and spending a month in 2010 traveling around Ireland, staying in B&B's with her sister. More importantly, for both you and me, Laurie is one of the kindest, most trustworthy people on this planet with lightning quick response while paying great attention to detail.

For more than 35 years, Sandra King served as the visionary chief executive officer of King Communications Advertising & Public Relations. She built her company from the ground up with ingenuity and determination, ensuring her business not only survived but thrived during three economic downturns. At a time when women were nearly non-existent on the business scene, she established her Newport Beach, California-based firm and oversaw its growth into a consistent award-winning agency. Prior to Sandra’s retirement in 2007, King Communications was one of the largest ad agencies in Orange County -- and the first to have a woman at the helm.

The firm’s strategic and successful marketing campaigns resulted in high client retention and award-winning work in brand identity, ad campaigns, brochures, direct mail and outdoor advertising.

Outside of work, Sandra used her passion for entrepreneurship to mentor others looking to overcome perceived obstacles to starting their own company

“We spent a wonderful 8 days at this property. The location is fantastic. It is a short walk from the beach and a great selection of shops and restaurants. The area is lovely with lots to do and see. You really do not need a car once you are here. It is also a great base for exploring Southern California. The property which is excellent. It provided us with plenty of space for our family of four to enjoy our holiday. Laurie and Sandra were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful, provided all we needed for our stay and answered any questions we had very quickly. We would gladly return to stay at the property again and recommend it to others.

A home away from home for your visit to Corona Del Mar

Sandra was wonderful. She welcomed us and gave us a thorough walk through of the apartment. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family of 4. Our 8 and 9 year olds were delighted with the short walk to the beach. Courtesy beach chairs and umbrellas were a great plus. Air conditioning, washing machine and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets was very helpful as well. With PCH just 2 blocks away it was close enough to walk to restaurants. We had a dedicated parking space for our SUV in a garage whic was very convenient. If you want a great home away from home while visiting Corona Del Mar, Sandra’s place is perfect.

Beautiful Home & Gracious Host

The home was absolutely beautiful and in such a prime location!

Everything was spotless, and Sandra was kind enough to leave out some fruit, muffins, and juice.

Sandra was a lovely host, and provided us with a bunch of info about what to see, and all the best places to go for a bite to eat!

I am forever thankful for her kindness; she was willing to get out of bed in the middle of the night to let me into the apartment when I had locked myself out!

Amazing!

Place was immaculate. Unbelievable location, felt like home. Walked in to a Disney balloon for my daughter, she loved it! Would recommend everyone to stay here if you are going to California. Everything you could ask for.

Fabulous stay and location!!

Sandra and Laurie were prompt in replying and providing clear and easy instructions to follow. My wife and I and our two teenagers arrived later in the evening so checking in was a breeze with the info provided. The condo was an older styled Californian beach home that was very clean and charming. It had everything our family needed for our one week stay. Both Sandra and Laurie provided the extra touch and details that made it that much more comfortable and convenient providing us with a few extras!! We were so grateful especially not having a chance to really pick up food or supplies the night before. The neighbourhood with its beaches and shopping so close by was absolutely perfect. As we explored and ventured out more away from our community we came to realize Corona del Mar became our favourite place to be. We definitely will return again and rebook this wonderful condo! A fun little get away

The place was great for us and we had a great time. Laurie who welcomed us was very nice and supplied us with bagels, apples, and orange juice which was great after a long day of traveling. Place was clean and even had beach toys for the kids. The location was great to walk to the beaches and stores. Also near a small playground about a block away which was handy with the little ones. My only negative note would be that the location is near PH1 which is high in traffic road for little ones to walk near and due to the close homes the noise was a little loud at night from neighbors and cars.

Over all great stay and would go back again! Thanks!
