Beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath 1st floor corner unit with 1 king and 2 queen beds.

Location, Location, Location….. Welcome to one of the nicest condos in Mountain Thunder Lodge. Our condo is perfect for families or guests of 4-6. Our condo is one of the only condos in the building that has 2 queen beds in the guest bedroom. We also have a king bed in the master suite and a pull out queen in the living room. You will absolutely love the proximity to town of Mountain Thunder, we are 200 yards from the gondola and 2 blocks from some of the best restaurants and shopping on Main Street Breck. Our property is a ski in property via the gondola ski back trail which takes you literally to the back door of our building. Our condo is a corner end condo on the first floor and we have very few common walls with other condos making it a very quiet and comfortable. You will also love our L-shaped oversized deck with views of Mt. Baldy and Peak 9.

Mountain Thunder Lodge is a Vail managed property but we have chosen to rent the condo ourselves so you don’t have the $25 daily resort fee that Vail Resorts charges. If you weren’t aware, Vail resorts owns the Breckenridge ski resort.

We have done several renovations in the last few years including, new flooring, furniture, light fixtures, artwork, area rugs, new TV’s in the bedrooms, 55” TV in the family room and new Serta euro top mattresses in the master and guest bedrooms. We also have a lot of hooks, 4 doors with 5 hooks on each door. If you have ever skied with a family of 4 you will understand the importance of hooks to put your ski stuff, hats, coats, gloves, etc. We also have a ski locker in the ski storage area that holds 4 sets of skis.

You will love the amenities that Mountain Thunder Lodge has to offer. You will be welcomed to lodge with a beautiful grand entry with a large stone fireplace, wood beams, and elegant slate floors. This welcoming area has over sized couches and chairs to relax by a crackling fire after a perfect ski day.

Some of the other amenities of Mountain Thunder Lodge include:

• Heated underground free parking with elevator access to the main lodge.

• Luggage carts located in the heated garage.

• Two fitness facilities, one located at MTL and one located at One Ski Hill Place.

• Heated outdoor pool, pool house and hot tubs open year round.

• Complimentary coffee and newspaper in the morning.

• Outdoor gas barbecue grills.

• Outdoor jungle gym located next to the outdoor pool.

• Free DVD rentals.

• Resort shuttle for free transportation and pickup around town.

We also belong to the Mountain Masters Association which gives our guests access to private shuttles that will take you around town and all of the amenities of One Ski Hill Place. Additional amenities to One Ski Hill Place, a sister property of Mountain Thunder lodge include:

o Mineshaft bowling alley – reservations are suggested.

o Fitness center with treadmills, elliptical and weights.

o Two indoor pools and hot tub.

o Outdoor hot tub.

o Spa including steam room and sauna with beautiful male and female changing areas.

o Pool table / Game room.

o Two media rooms with video games (Wii & PlayStation), DVD and theater style seating for 8.

Why Greg Blanke chose Breckenridge

We purchased our unit in Mountain Thunder Lodge in December, 2014. We absolutely love this property because it is centrally located. Main street is just a block away, with wonderful shops, resturants and entertainment. The gondola is literally 200 yards away from the door and will take you up to Peak 7 or Peak 8 for a wonderful day of skiing and you can ski back to the lodge via a ski run. Mountain Thunder Lodge is also a Vail managed property and includes all the benefits of One Ski Hill place, so anyone using our condo has access to the free shuttle, bowling alley, media rooms, billiard room and the spa at one Ski Hill Place. It's truly the best of both worlds, you have the convienent access to Main Street within walking distance and a shuttle ride away from all of the amenities of a luxury resort. There are a lot of nice properties "up the mountain", but to be able to walk to dinner, shopping and entertainment makes Mountain Thunder Lodge a special property. We looked at a lot of properties in Breckenridge and once we found Mountain Thunder Lodge we knew this was the property for us.

What makes this condo unique

Our unit is one of the few 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom units that features 2 queen beds in the guest bedroom. It is perfect for families with multiple kids or guests of 3 or more that don't want to share beds or sleep on a pull out couch. We have 2 children and they love the fact that they don't have to share a bed when we visit Mountain Thunder Lodge.

Location and great accommodation!

Loved everything about this condo! Nice accommodations, 2 queens in guest room made it extra nice for my children. Great location and shuttle service was an added plus. Loved having the gondola across from the unit. Will be back!!

We would rent this condo again!

Greg was great to work with and answered all of my questions right away. There were 7 of us (6 adults and 1 child) and the condo size was perfect, even for 7 relatives staying together for a week!. The condo looks exactly as pictured. Location was terrific! Across the street from the Gondola and a short walk to Main Street. The staff at Mountain Thunder Lodge was so accommodating. They stored our luggage prior to check in and after check out. As guests at MTL we were able to use the amenities at One Ski Hill and the lodge shuttle service. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect stay in Breck!

Perfect stay for a girls getaway! This property is centrally located and in close proximity to anything you want to do in Breck! Comfortable and clean, the beds are heavenly! With a fully equipped kitchen, it was easy to cook in after a long day of site seeing. We were a group of 5, and would definitely recommend this place. The heated garage is a very nice perk as well!

Perfect!

Highly recommend! Our family of four stayed for a ski vacation. Check in was a breeze and it was easy to find. I also thought the staff working at the reception desk in the main lobby area were very nice and helpful. We loved the location. You can easily walk to the gondola and then literally ski to the back door of the condo complex. We also liked that it was only a short walk to Breck's Main Street and all the great stores and restaurants. One hot tub is very close to the condo and the other hot tub and pool are just a short walk. The condo was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. My two teenage boys appreciated the two queen size beds and TV in the second bedroom and my husband and I found the king size bed in the master very comfortable. The condo is a nice size for a family of four and its main living space was nice to gather and relax in front of the fire after a day of skiing. Overall -- Five stars!! We absolutely would stay here again!

Location location location

This property is not very high up on the mountain but it’s also not in the heart of the town of Breckenridge either. So if you want the best of both worlds like we did and have the ability to walk to Main Street of Breckenridge in less than 10 minutes but also walk less than 10 minutes to the main gondola that takes you up skiing, this is your spot!
