The ''Kokopelli Kondo'' is a true Ski-in/Ski-Out resort property. The ski lifts are a short elevator ride and about a 60-meter walk to the lift ticket offices, ski lift (the "Quicksilver" 6-person high-speed lift) and ski slopes. Maximize your ski lift ticket / passes by spending less time getting to the slopes and more time adventuring on Breckenridge's thrilling ski / ride trails - all accessible a short distance from your condo!

This corner unit located in the heart of Breckenridge, features 270 degree views of the SKI AREA, SNOW-CAPPED PEAKS SOARING OVER 13,000 FEET, BLUE RIVER/Maggie Pond, and the Victorian age town of Breckenridge.

Nicknamed the 'Kokopelli Kondo'' due to its charming southwestern decor, this ski-in/ski-out corner unit located on the fifth floor in The Village. The 1,459 sq. ft. of the condo (please see floor plan in pictures) provides plenty of space for large or combined families and small groups, and features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and all the amenities expected of a luxury resort rental.

The Kokopelli Kondo is nestled between Peak 9 base of the Breckenridge Ski Area, and the historic Main street shops and restaurants of downtown Breckenridge, Colorado.

Your stay in the "Kokopelli" includes all the comforts of a second home, including a full kitchen with cooking utensils and dinnerware, linens, bedding, towels, furniture, and south western decor.

On-site health club (included at no extra charge)

Your rental also includes unlimited access to The Village Health Club located on the property inside The Peak Nine Inn. Pool hours are 8 AM to 10 PM and the exercise room is available from 6 AM to 11 AM. The Village Heath Club facility has four (4) outdoor hot tubs for soaking sore muscles after a fantastic day on the mountain. We also have a heated indoor-outdoor pool, aerobic and weight exercise room (with treadmill and life-cycle aerobic equipment), large steam room, dry sauna, locker room, and showers.

Ski rentals, ski school and restaurants within the village

The Village at Breckenridge resort is home to two ski rental shops (Breeze & Christie Sports), 2 Restaurants (Sauce & The Pub), on-site Peak 9 medical clinic -- all located steps from the Kokopelli at Plaza level.

If you want to venture out further than walking distance from the condo, guests can catch the Summit Stage Shuttle to all of Summit County, Keystone, Silverthorne outlet stores, & the Breck Recreation Center from a bus stop just 100 feet away! Please refer to the location graphics in our photo section for a better idea of how close you will be to both the ski area and to charming Main Street Breckenridge.

PARKING:

THE VILLAGE CONDOMINIUMS OUTNUMBER THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE IN THE ON-SITE HEATED GARAGE. THEREFORE, OUR ABILITY TO OFFER PARKING IN THE ON-SITE HEATED GARAGE IS STRICTLY ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS, AND CLOSELY REGULATED BY THE VILLAGE HOME OWNER'S ASSOCIATION.

If onsite parking is high on your vacation priority list, please inquire with us as to onsite availability. If on-site parking is not available during your requested dates, we will provide you with two (2) off-site overnight parking option locatiopns, which include the Town's Ice Skating Rink lot at $15 per night (~10 minute walk), or the least expensive alternative of the Airport Road location ($5 per night vs. $22 per night in the garage) which is accessible via Breckenridge shuttle system.

Please note that due to our location which includes close proximity to the ski lifts, town, grocery store, etc., bringing a car or frequent access to a vehicle may not be necessary.

SHUTTLE SERVICES:

If choosing not to bring a car, there are several dependable shuttle services from Denver International Airport. We recommend 4 Seasons Executive Car Service. 4 Seasons provides excellent, personal transportation from Denver Intl Airport to Breck. Your reservation includes an exclusive vehicle (SEDAN for 1-3 guests, SUV for 4-6, and VAN for 7-10) for a more personalized experience than a typical shared shuttle. Your driver will be ready at the terminal door of your choice at DIA, and will take you directly to Breck without additional waiting or stops. Call 1.303.435.389 for reservations.

You may also chose Colorado Mountain Express (CME), which has regularly scheduled service to and from Denver International Airport. For our guests, we offer a 10% discount when choosing CME shuttle services.

About Twilla Entin

Your VRBO contact, Twilla Entin (pictured above, left) owns at the Village at Breckenridge, and manages this property, nicknamed "The Kokpelli Kondo," for fellow friends and owners Dave and Judy.

The owners, Dave and Judy's story with the Village at Breckenridge dates back to the early eighties when the properties were first built. Dave has been very involved in the Village since its inception, and has served several terms on the Village homeowner's association. He and Judy know the property and town of Breckenridge extremely well, and have been coming to the Colorado Rockies and Breckenridge for decades. They chose the Village at Breckenridge for it perfect ski-in/ski-out location within the Town of Breckenridge, and The Kokopelli, for some of the most incredible views on the resort property.

The manager for reservations for the Kokpelli is Twilla, who owns a 1 bedroom condo, and manages one other 2 bedroom for our friends in the same lodge complex, the Village at Breckenridge.

Why Twilla Entin chose Breckenridge

Since Dave and Judy were one of the original buyers at The Village at Breckenridge, they had the "pick of the litter" and many, many units to consider in regards to choosing the perfect unit within the resort. They chose the Kokopelli, as the incredible views are truly breath-taking, and timeless. The spacious living room and each of the three bedrooms have access to the three balconies, from which views of the ski area, Rocky Mountains, and downtown Breckenridge can be seen.

What makes this condo unique

Location, location, location! This is a true ski-in/ski-out property, and one of the few properties in Breckenridge that is also a short walk to historic downtown Breckenridge.

Perfect Ski Rental for Families

My extended family (6 adults, 4 kids) just spent a perfect week in Breck at the Kokopelli Kondo. We couldn't have been happier with the condo or the location. Our small kids spent half the week in ski school, and there's literally no closer location. The ski school's Village location is RIGHT downstairs, as are two ski rental offices. We loved looking out the window to gauge the length of the lift line. We were close to all services and amenities on Peak 9, and right across the street from all the shops and restaurants on Main Street and Park. Again, the location is top notch and we definitely plan to return.

The condo itself is well appointed and comfortable. The kids had plenty room to spread out and play. We cooked three large family meals while in Breck, and we never lacked for anything in the kitchen. Bathrooms were well-stocked, and we appreciated that both bathrooms had bathtubs for the kids to use. All in all, it was a magical week. We're already looking forward to next year!

Great location, and superb management

Breck Village is literally location location location

The apartment blocks are well situated to both the piste, and loads of apres options. We were spoiled for choice.

The condo’s mattresses could do with an update (soft and somewhat uncomfortable).

Overall, the amenities, location and excellent service we received from Twilla made for a great stay.

Ideal for skiing!!!

The location of the apartment is excellent - everything is an extremely short walk away - the lifts, the restaurant, the village. It could not be better. The apartment has everything you need. Twila and Dale are excellent hosts. Twila answered all our questions before we got there immediately. Dale is the equivalent of a concierge at a five star hotel. They solve all your problems. We hope to stay there again next year!!!!!!!!!

We loved our stay and found the condo to be perfect for our family, clean, spacious, and with a great view of the Quicksilver lift line so we could decide whether to join it or not without leaving the condo! The only thing missing was a kettle, which would have been useful as we are English and drink a lot of tea!
