We opened our doors to vacation guests for the first time in June of 2015 but we've been landlords for this former long term rental (and others in Avl) for the past 25 years. We are a LEGALLY ZONED, permitted and insured short term rental, south of downtown Asheville in a cluster of historic homes. Newly renovated and furnished (2015) ground level apartment with plenty of natural light. This space feel like a cozy loft. Open the doors of this former carriage space on the first level of our home onto a modern living area with brick walls and freshly painted concrete floors softened with natural jute rugs. The exposed copper pipes complete the urban loft feel.
*The living room provides you with comfortable seating and a 42" HDTV with local HD network stations, Netflix, HuluPlus, Pandora and a Bluray DVD for your viewing and listening pleasure.
*A Bluetooth speaker is available to access your own music library.
*The premium BeautyRest Queen bed with luxury linens is bed bug protected and tucked behind a 3/4 wall for privacy and a dresser is available to unpack your bags.
*A handcrafted white pine slab and pipe desk awaits your laptop which will have access to high speed WiFi should you need to conduct business during your stay. Ask about printer access.
* Fluffy white towels are stocked in the bathroom along with cruelty free, goat milk bath products by Beekman 1802. Stall shower-no tub.
*Our fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook meals and includes intimate seating for two or enjoy an evening on the private patio grilling up a romantic meal on the charcoal grill.
*Keep a mean game of Scrabble going on the refrigerator while you cook.
*Bed linens are provided for a third guest on a premium twin air mattress with built in pump (by request).
*We live across the street from a 1 acre park so bring your frisbee!

Wonderful access to all things WNC has to offer! Particularly downtown Asheville, hiking and biking trails on the Blue Ridge Pkwy, NC Arboretum, Bent Creek Experimental Forest and DuPont State Forest where you will see breathtaking waterfalls. Downtown Asheville is a 10 mile drive; a straight shot up Hendersonville Rd (25) which is the main artery connecting all the Asheville area. No directions necessary! We make the drive regularly. Driving times vary depending on the tourist season and time of day. Generally, travel time is about 10 min to the edge of Biltmore Village and Estate entrance and 20 min to the south slope of downtown where you will find the heart of the local brewery district. Downtown Hendersonville is about the same distance in the other direction. We are within a 5-10 min drive of several dozen eating establishments including the dazzling Sierra Nevada Brewery. We are within a 5 min drive of necessity shopping (WalMart, Target, etc) and 10 minutes from the new Asheville Outlet Mall.

Rates may vary on weekends and during peak season ($95-$125 with 2 night minimum stay). Click on the calendar for specifics. Owner reserves the right to change listed rates. There is no reduced weekly rate for a Saturday to Saturday reservation. Guests will be charged the full cumulative nightly rate as listed. 50% refundable up to 30 days prior to check in. If we are able to rebook the dates we can issue a further refund minus processing/cancellation fees. Under rare circumstances, full refunds can be issued with a minimum $25 up to 10% processing/cancellation fee deducted.
Pet fees are $20/pet/night and will be sent in an edited quote. $150 pet deposit. Additional pet fees for weekly and monthly stays. Required pet photo, proof of flea/tick treatment prior to approval. Pets may not be left unattended in the apartment. We can provide a large wire crate for your use. Pets not allowed on furnishings.
Cleaning fee $50 up to a five night stay. One week stays (6 nights) are subject to a $75 cleaning fee
Long term stays (1 week or more) require a weekly cleaning at the rate of $50/week of stay. Fees include full cleaning service including fresh linens and towels.
