Stunning Views From This Beautiful Home in the Country! 30 min from Waterton.

This beautiful home is open and spacious with big bright windows in every room! The mountain views can be seen from all the main rooms in the house and two of the bedrooms. A beautiful, full kitchen with a huge island opens to the living and dining area for great conversations while cooking! A music/toy room is separated by a bright glass door (which also serves as the 5th bedroom).

The second-floor houses the bedrooms and a family room for movies, quiet reading or just hanging out together! The master bedroom is a luxurious suite with a large jacuzzi tub, King bed, and a quaint sitting alcove. The main bathroom is like a SPA with a steam shower, jetted tub and an infrared sauna!


Outside in the yard is a sunken trampoline, and a nice deck with a BBQ, table, and lounge furniture. There is a large fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs for those peaceful summer nights. There are hammocks in the yard for lounging. You won't tire of the magnificent views and beautiful natural setting! Owners will be staying in the adjoining garage suite to assist you with anything you should need.

Family Reunion
We had an amazing few days at our accommodations. There were 12 of us and plenty of room for us to sleep, eat and visit. The location is stunning and peaceful. Our host Kathryn was superb. She was very helpful and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend this holiday home.

Gorgeous and peaceful getaway
We had a great time at Kathryn’s place! The house is very nice with lots of room and the view is spectacular. We also appreciated all of the available kid items and the trampoline was a big hit!

Wonderful rural escape!
We had a great stay at Kathryn and Mike's property. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space. We gazed at the stars and were able see birds of prey at dusk...bliss! Truly a great palce to stay if you want to get away from it all all and stay close to Waterton Lakes National Park - highly recommended!

Girls weekend
The house is a perfect setup for large groups, but I’m not sure I would consider it “new “ anymore, however the view and the peace and quiet are priceless. Plenty of beds, which are oh so comfortable, and lots of space to spread out and a great kitchen for numerous cooks. Kathryn is quick to respond both prior to booking and whenever we needed to contact her during our stay. There were a few basics missing from the pantry but that was quickly corrected and perhaps a couple more mugs would have been nice. Also directions on working the shower and the air conditioning (which was much appreciated on a hot weekend)would have been helpful. I would recommend staying here. Thanks Kathryn for opening your home to others.

Hi there, my name is Kathryn. Many years ago my husband and three of our five children were living in crowded Vancouver B.C. until one day I found this beautiful little slice of heaven called WATERTON! We decided to move to this gorgeous place with a few close friends. I can honestly say that was one of the best decisions of my life! It had been a dream of ours to move out to property with some of our close friends for a very long time. When we moved to Alberta we searched out properties everywhere and finally decided on this one. Slowly each family has built and moved houses onto the property. We have finally accomplished our dreams! We built our home and have loved every minute in it. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Why they chose this property

When we found this property we knew that this was going to be our slice of heaven. We have worked hard to make it beautiful and enjoyable. The mountain views are STUNNING! The prairie land is spectacular. Our yard has a sunken trampoline, hammocks and a deck with a BBQ. We are making improvements every year to the yard and house.

What makes this property unique

It is secluded and quiet yet not too far away from a grocery store, library, and a live theatre that also shows movies. Oh and don't forget gorgeous Waterton Park! We also have a private country road for walking or cycling. We are close to creeks and lakes and reservoirs!
