We really enjoyed our time at this property!
Some of our observations!
This was the location that we wanted, between Nanaimo and Victoria. There isn’t a lot to Mill Bay, but we were prepared for quite a bit of driving. The property is right on the water. The canoe and the two kid size kayaks were loads of fun.
The house is extremely well stocked, everything from firewood to board games, to kitchen supplies and loads of towels.
Lots of space in the house.
2 bedrooms and a pull out couch.
Lovely family room with a couch and a few chairs to sit and look out over the water.
On-site laundry was super helpful after days of hiking.
We did find quite a few ants in the basement bedrooms when we arrived, so we had to deal with them before bedtime.
Hauling the canoe and kayaks down the stairs was tricky. I was grateful that I was there with my husband and teenage son. I would not have been able to do that on my own and it was such a great part of our experience staying here.
This is one of the more dated homes that we have stayed at, not that it’s a con, but more of a comment.
Not sure if there was AC in the house and I can only imagine how hot it gets during the summer months!
We would stay here again without a second thought.
