Sit back and relax in your very own seaside retreat overlooking the beautiful Bay of Fundy just minutes from Downtown Digby, NS
Situated on a beautiful oceanfront property, your seaside oasis is located just 10 minutes from the Digby NS - St. John NB ferry and 15 minutes from Highway 101.
This newly constructed 2 level cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a modern kitchen with all new amenities, wrap-around deck, WiFi, flatscreen tvs with cable, wood floors, large windows throughout, washer & dryer, and plenty of parking.
From the front entrance, is the open concept living room, dining room & kitchen area. The living room is furnished with a couch, lounge chair, ottomans, coffee table & a large HDTV. The dining room is set for six and the kitchen is outfitted with a new fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There's a kitchen bar with three stools. The cupboards and drawers are stocked with all brand new cooking wares.
There are two patio doors off the main living/dining room, leading to a wrap around deck overlooking the ocean. The view from the deck is spectacular! To the North, is the Bay of Fundy; straight across are the red cliffs and (after a good rainfall) the three waterfalls of Victoria Beach in Annapolis County; to the South is the Annapolis Basin. The deck has lounge chairs, a patio set for dining and a new large BBQ.
All three bedrooms have ocean views. The first bedroom is located on the main floor. It has a queen bed and a 4 piece ensuite bathroom, complete with a stackable washer and dryer. The other two bedrooms are located on the downstairs ground level: One bedroom has two twin beds and the second bedroom has a queen bed with a sitting area and TV. There is a bathroom on the ground level which includes an oversized rain shower. All bedrooms have spacious closets and dressers and are decorated with local art & photography.
There is a second patio under the deck, off the ground entrance, giving guests lots of space to relax outside. There's also lovely grassed area outback for a game of croquet and mature plants and trees surround the property for privacy.
One of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed. The view from the deck changes constantly with the tides. Typically with this kind of rental there are small accommodations you have to make. Not here. We found good materials in good condition and good taste throughout. Also, didn't have to deal with surplus foodstuffs or kitchen implements left behind by previous occupants. There's a beautiful beach 30 minutes away, but if you're accustomed to tropical waters, take a big breath before jumping in.
Kelli and Oliver -
We had such a great time enjoying your home. Everything was absolutely perfect including the wine, flowers and jam for our morning breakfast. My wife and I had such a great time during our first trip to Nova Scotia. The ferry ride from St. John was smooth sailing and easy to access your home. We even got lucky enough to see a few whales and some sunfish along the way. Once we got to your home we went shopping at Sobeys not far away and then grabbed some dinner on the deck.
We planned a few day trips to Brier Island across the two small ferries and it was worth the trip to see the lighthouse. We stopped at a little cafe near Petit Passage and had the best lobster roll in quite a while. Bear River was great too, especially the gallery in town. We enjoyed the Bear River Winery and the Annapolis Vineyard too. We took another trip to Yarmouth and enjoyed a great little French cafe, La Cuisine Robicheau. The churches along the route to Yarmouth were amazing too. The balancing rock was a nice walk on the trail but the 235 steps weren't much fun (it was hot out) but we felt it was worth it.
The views from the deck were great and the whales were in the basin every day, quite amazing. We actually enjoyed cooking a few dinners especially the fresh scallops from Birch Street Seaford. The home was nice and clean with all of the amenities you could ask for.
Thank you for sharing your home with us and I have a feeling that we will certainly be back.

Kelli couldn't have been more responsive to questions and needs. The home has everything you need and is located close to services. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed every minute. Thanks Kelli--we will try to come back again!
Kelli was wonderful to work with she was always prompt and helpful with her replies. She welcomed us with a lovely bottle of Nova Scotia wine , fresh flowers and golf balls from Digby Pines a fun course to play! The cottage is even more beautiful than the photos. The division of living space is well thought out. The main floor bedroom & bathroom were perfect for the older couple we travelled with. We took the downstairs with a sitting area and great views of the Bay in the bedroom, the bathroom is down the hall way across from the very nice 3rd bedroom. A private patio with a walk out was a bonus. The upper spacious deck was perfect for so many activities I really enjoyed my Tai Chi practice outdoors using these two spaces overlooking the gorgeous Bay. The kitchen was easy to work in with lots of counter space well knitted out and we prepared fabulous meals here! We never used the BBQ for some reason. We took Kelli's advice and enjoyed fresh sea food from the fish shop it was amazing. The cottage was everything it said and we enjoyed every moment . A 5 minute drive brings you to Point Prim lighthouse it was a favourite outing many times taking in sunsets, storms, high tides and low tides. Stores are a 10 minute drive away so convenient. Bear River Tidal stilt village was a fun half day trip we also went up to Church Point and saw the largest Wooden Church in Canada now a museum.Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Peggy's Cove were a full day trip. Digby is a cute little town we strolled the Main Street and harbour. We walked down a steep road near the cottage to access the rocky beach and here we saw a Eagle with its young, the eagle swooped by the cottage regularly something beautiful to see! This rental exceeded our expectations it was absolutely a joy to be here we highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Digby. We left on the Ferry just down the hill from the cottage it was a perfect way to head home.
We really enjoyed our stay in Digby. It was a very relaxing and quiet place to stay and we took the opportunity to sit out on the deck and soak up the sun. The Digby Pines golf course is only a 10 minute dive away and we enjoyed it so much we played it twice. There is also a good selection of restaurants and sightseeing opportunities close by. We highly recommend d this place.
This truly is an exceptional cottage. This beautifully appointed Cottage is an oasis of luxury with an outstanding view of the Digby Harbor Entrance. We immediately felt like we were in an exclusive Resort that made you feel at home from the minute you arrive. The Bedrooms allowed us to each have a restful sleep in preparation of our next days adventures. The Kitchen allowed us to prepare meals including seafood that we procured immediately upon delivery from the harbor. Afterwards we sat on the outside deck and watched the St. John/Digby Ferry and local fishing boats navigate the harbor. A short drive down the road is a lighthouse where you will want to be at sunset. The views are outstanding, and we met a local woman who was there whale watching (she told us they are there all the time). The cottage is a short ride into town and is such a friendly place to walk around and meet the locals along with a visit to the Harbor where you might be lucky enough to be there when the Famous Digby Scallops are unloaded from boat with a very friendly crew.
We plan to return as soon as possible and we will again look to stay in this wonderful location. We recommend this for families and groups who like to stay together.
