Stay in this amazing 2-story upscale home located in the gated TAO Wellness Residential Community within the 5-Star Bahia Principe Resort, surrounded by the Tulum Country Club, its 27 hole championship golf course, and all amenities. Enjoy the complimentary shuttles to the sport courts, beach club, private beach, spas, restaurants, bars, and casino. Wellness Center is now open and ready for your massage and spa bookings with discount.

This luxurious residence at TAO Inspired Living is fully furnished and features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open kitchen with granite countertops, balcony and oversized patio terrace with private pool, located on the 4th fairway with a gorgeous cenote and waterfall view.

The master bedroom is located on the upper level and has a king-size bed facing the golf course and its own open terrace. The spacious master bathroom features two sinks, a large shower and plenty of closet space.

A guest bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom with shower in addition to a studio with futon are also located on the upper level. The studio bedroom also opens to the balcony overlooking the golf course.

The main level of this residence features one guest bedroom with bathroom and shower, open kitchen with granite countertops, and perfectly appointed living and dining rooms. The great room faces the private splash pool and terrace, overlooking the gorgeous fairway and cenote. There is also seating on the oversized patio to dine under the stars.

The Wellness Center, just a short walk from the house, features a gym, 2 salt water lap pools, yoga classes, lounge area, Temazcal (Mayan sauna), hammocks, and a lot more in a very peaceful, relaxed setting, surrounded by the tropical jungle.

Just steps from the Villa is an amazing infinity pool with chaise lounges and a BBQ grill area with tables to enjoy the amazing views of the golf course while enjoying your meal. There are also bathrooms and an outdoor shower.

PLUS! Enjoy the complimentary shuttle to our Kay Beach Club with food and drink for purchase as well as the Casa Club which provides delivery service. Jog or walk through the beautifully manicured grounds, shop, play tennis, bike, and try your luck at the casino and more!

Unpleasant Experience with Host
The villa itself was really nice, especially the open layout of the ground floor. It was well-appointed and the colorful decoration made you feel like you were on vacation. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the host right from the start, which affected the enjoyment of our 1-month stay there. We specifically booked this villa because it advertised 4 bedrooms (description, pictures). When we checked in, the 4th bedroom was locked with a big sign on the door indicating not to enter. We immediately tried to resolve this misunderstanding by contacting both the 2 property managers and the host through multiple texts, emails, What’s App, and calls. The property managers couldn’t help without the host’s approval and the host remained unresponsive (despite being aware of issue) until she approved unlocking the 4th bedroom over 24 hours later. This waiting period was very frustrating and unpleasant. We were not in a hurry to get the 4th bedroom unlocked, but we needed to know quickly whether the host would ever unlock it during our 1-month stay (so that VRBO could relocate us to another house). The host never apologized and instead argued that it was locked because she said that we didn’t need it (because we were a family of 4?). Yet the host approved before reserving that we might have 2 other guests joining us later. We booked a 4-bedroom as advertised (whether we were a family of 4 or not) and that is all there was to it, no justification needed. We appreciate that the host gave us a good discount for renting the villa for 1 month, but that is no reason to cut us off from what we needed. The handling of the situation and the tone in the correspondence was very unprofessional and disrespectful. This, and an accumulation of other issues prevented us from fully enjoying our stay. For example, we waited for days to get some plumbing repairs fixed, the villa was very hot and stuffy in June-July (A/C wasn’t efficient), and bedsheets in the Master were worn out and ill-fitting. The villa also didn’t feel like it was appointed for a vacation rental because the host left many personal items, too many family pictures, and too many Do’s and Don’ts in the instructions.

Upon our arrival we found two upstairs bathroom toilets clogged, lock on patio door downstairs broken, floors were clean but rugs dirty (didn’t look like they had been vacuumed) and garbage in trash bin in bathroom (tampon...as we are in our late fifties......wasn’t ours). Discussed this with property manager next day and she was very indifferent (later found out she led the owner to believe we had caused it all). We spent 3 days of our holiday time waiting on plumbers.......thought maybe this should be the property managers responsibility. One plumber showed up with a screw driver and hammer.....don’t know how he thought that would help. I guess if you have no problems, this could be a decent home to rent, but I do not appreciate being thought a liar by the owner, who we tried to keep in touch with to update on progress of situations.

A gorgeous home situated in a tropical paradise!
This is by far the nicest vacation property we have ever stayed at, and it's even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The house was spotless and decorated in warm, tropical colors. The outside area is huge, and we loved sitting out there every morning with our coffee, overlooking the lush landscape. The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us some fabulous suggestions for activities and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. You'll love it!

We moved from the beach house in Newport Beach, California to the Houston area of Texas. Our dream is to live in our home in Paradise at least half of the year. We never want to leave once we are down here and once you are here, you will understand why.

Why they chose this property

Once we visited this area I knew I wanted to come back to make this at least my second home. The longer one stays here, the more one wants to stay longer. There is never enough time to see and do all the things the Riviera Maya has to offer with its numerous cenotes, ruins, beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and swimming with the turtles. Second only to the Great Barrier Reef, our protected reef is alive with sea life and the gorgeous turquoise blue water keeps me amazed daily. When you come back from the day at the beach, stroll steps from the house to the infinity pool and enjoy use of the BBQ to cook dinner. If you come during the summer, make sure you book a trip to swim with the whale sharks, the most amazing once in a lifetime experience you'll have to swim with these massive docile creatures. They are only here during the summer, so book early and book the whale shark tour to get the most out of your vacation in paradise. If you are a golfer, you cannot help but be amazed with this gorgeous Golf Course, ranked #3 in all of Mexico, as well as be challenged by it. Even if you don't golf, you will view with amazement the lush green course with its cenotes lakes and rivers. The house is located right across from the white tees on the 4th hole, a par 5.
You will want to go to Akumal, 5 minutes from the villa, to the beach where you can walk out and swim with the turtles, naturally! So many restaurants and friendly people, excellent food abounds. Once you book, you will be given a list of several restaurants close by. Paradise found!
