Extremely comfortable and oustranding attention to detail

  • 5 of 5

This duplex is lovely and in a beautiful region. The unit is a extremely comfortable place to spend a lovely vacation, from well structured common areas to comfy beds. Cait has been incredibly thorough to provide a detailed notebook of everything anyone might need/forget and might want to know/do in the area. Great vacation.

It was very hot. Fans were helpful, maybe a window fan or two would cool the house down.

Owner's Response: Dear Gwen ~ Boy, it certainly was a hot one! Mother Nature really turned up the heat. We will definitely explore your window fan suggestion. :-) We’re glad your family "had a great few days" as you mentioned in our communications. May the great days continue throughout the summer and beyond! Thanks again, Gwen! ~Cait

Beautiful and comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 10- adults, teenagers and kids- really enjoyed our long weekend at Pierpont's Place! Everything you could possibly need was provided and the home is so nicely decorated-and so comfortable. The beds are great. We had enough supplies to last well beyond the 4 days we were there.

Even my little dog enjoyed the soft comfy bed and blanket and the cute moose shaped dog cookie that was provided to make him feel at home.

The location is perfect for the outdoor crowd-we skied and boarded at Bretton Woods, cross country skied at Mt Washington Hotel and Jackson Ski Touring Center, dined out in North Conway, Mt Washington Hotel and Jackson Village-all within short drives.

Caitlin is a doll-so hospitable and easy to work with! We will be back for sure!

Great house, everything we could have needed

  • 5 of 5

The house was really great for us. It was very clean when we arrived, with lots of really nice extras, for us and the dogs! The basement was a really great space where the kids could play and sleep - and it kept the noise downstairs! The kitchen was small, but well equipped. The bathrooms had lots of towels and the beds were really comfy! The BBQ was better than most places we have stayed at and was used most nights.

The swimming pool, was a 5 min walk from the house, and was warm enough for the kids to swim in for a while. We could all bike directly from the complex onto trails leading to Attitash single track.

The owner was very flexible, allowed us an early check in and late check out. She was very helpful when anything needed sorting out and was very approachable with any questions about the house or the area.

We would definitely go back! Thank you so much Caitlin!

Owner's Response: 'Ello Gov’na ~ To our friends from across the pond, thank you for Bridget Jones, Mary Poppins and Jane Austen. For Downton Abbey, ta! Who could forget tea and Yorkshire Terrier (mixes)? (I love my little Sasha.) I am such a fan of the royal family, royal weddings and fascinators. On behalf of my sister, thanks for Harry Potter. Uncle David is grateful for Uncle Kevin. Also, I can’t say enough about the accents. If I sounded like you, I would bloody well never shut up. Most importantly, thank you so much for choosing to spend your New Hampshire holiday at Pierpont’s Place. We hope you had a jolly good time, and we are keen to have you back! Pip Pip and Cheerio, Old Bean! ~ Cait P.S. I'm sorry.

About Cait Lawrence

Hello potential guests! My name is Caitlin Lawrence, and I am the property manager. I am a Massachusetts native and New Hampshire enthusiast. After graduating from Clarkson University in 2005 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, I worked in the environmental consulting field for several years. I now have an active, caretaking role in the lives of my young cousins. My hobbies include interior design, gardening, skiing and Zumba...and managing property. ~*~*~*~*~ My brother, Nicholas Lawrence, is the owner of the property. Nick graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2009 with a degree in Marine Engineering. As a Second Engineer, he maintains the on-board systems of Signet Maritime’s fleet of ships. While his home port is in Weymouth, Massachusetts, he is often offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. In his spare time, Nick enjoys skiing, gaming and riding his motorcycle.

Cait Lawrence purchased this townhome in 2015

Why Cait Lawrence chose Bartlett

Our family has a long history of vacationing in the White Mountains year round. Growing up as avid skiers, we spent nearly every winter break in the North Conway area (whether there was real snow or not). Summer and spring vacations often included trips to Story Land, the Alpine Slide, the Kancamagus Highway, the Flume and other attractions. We were also frequent patrons of the Fryeburg Fair in October. These trips involved parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends. We want to carry on these traditions going forward for future generations. This home is ideal. For Nick, the tax benefits are not bad either!

What makes this townhome unique

In addition to being in a great location, this home has a great layout. It has 2 separate living spaces! This situation is ideal for multi-generational families. There is plenty of room for people to spread out and enjoy various activities. In other words, you can lock the kids in the basement! Just kidding...sort of. ;-)
