About this property

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIEWS AND THE NATURAL LIGHTING

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, Ship Bottom home is just 1 house from the ocean and steps from the dune with excellent ocean views from kitchen, dining area, living room master bedroom and decks. This home has exceptional natural lighting due to an enormous (12 ft. X 10 ft.) trapezoid shaped window. It boasts cathedral ceilings, abundant (private) off street parking, air conditioned bedrooms, a very large deck w/Weber grill, and outdoor showers. It is walking distance to excellent restaurants, shopping and water activities. It is situated on a narrow portion of the island where two short blocks separate the long luxurious ocean beach from the bay with a marina and full compliment of water activities (great fishing and crabbing off of a huge public dock, rental boats, kayaks, and jet skis.)

Free shuttle service will bring you to either end of this 18 mile barrier island and all the favorite spots in between. For exquisite views, climb the 217 steps of Old Barney lighthouse on the north end of the island with nature walks, museums and State Park or visit the southern tip of the island with its serene bird sanctuary. In between there are amusement parks, water parks, batting cages, miniature golf, tennis courts, handicap facilities, summer theatre, free concerts, and all of the quirky little shops and smells of a bustling beach community. There are charter boats and party boats for deep sea fishing and for just $10 you can take a sunset cruise on the Black Whale (Beach Haven). A large Supermarket is just 1 mile away and don’t miss the flea markets! After the sun goes down there are numerous nightlife spots with great live entertainment…some within walking distance of the house, others with free shuttles.

Master bedroom has cathedral ceiling, Queen size poster bed, small terrace, 36” TV and magnificent ocean views, adjacent bedroom has 2 twin beds and access to small terrace, third bedroom has a standard double bed and a set of bunk beds.

Very comfortable beach rental
First time beach house renter here! Listing delivered! House was clean, comfortable and we were all able to relax there. The deck space and proximity to the beach and eateries made the week a success!

Great location close to the beach. House wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. Grill was not a Weber as advertised and was very greasy. AC units were loud and there were spaces intentionally cut out in the walls which made it hard for privacy and to keep the cool air in.

Perfect location!
The location could not be beat - it was so close to the beach and the deck had a wonderful view. Ample parking and natural light. Some minor issues, like cabinets off hinges and light bulbs burnt out were there but overall the rental was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed it!

Perfect
My husband and 13 year old daughter and two of her friends had an awesome week staying at this house. It was comfortable and met all of our needs. Being just one house off the beach made it perfect! We loved that the area was quiet but a quick drive to fun and exciting places in Beach Haven. Right near the house is great restaurants and shops. Joan was great to us during our stay, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and a minor issue was tended too promptly and efficiently!! She is a great host! We thank her and all involved for making our stay.....perfect!!😎

Very Nice
This was such a great vacation we had! Everything was there that was needed. It was tight parking if you are in the B unit, not sure how that was supposed to work. Some minor cabinet repairs needed in the kitchen, but very comfortable. Thank you
