TRAVELER'S NOTE; BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF SHORELINE AND THE NATURAL OCEAN CURRENTS IN FRONT OF THE CONDO, WE DO NOT HAVE A SEA WEED PROBLEM IN THIS CONDO.

The Miramar Condominium structure is modern and, charmingly vintage Caribbean. Bougainvillea cover the entrance walls while modern terraced balconies dramatically expose the blue Caribbean to all 12 units. You will experience intimacy, privacy and elegance... in sharp contrast to high density condo towers all around.

This previously unfinished third floor Miramar condo is now renovated to the highest standards possible. An easy one flight of stairs up, we sit at the top of the palms in the finest shoreline in Cozumel.

Miramar's 60 foot pool and sunning area is a symphony of water, tile and grass. The pool is large enough to do laps and includes a water jet spa. Snorkling is fantastic with a convenient ladder entry. The unique jump off platform is an ExtremeSport challenge for young and old. But there is a stairway to easy ocean entrance and exit.

Just renovated in June 2015, everything you touch will feel fresh and pristine. Five arched alcoves are dramatically painted like windows by respected Yucatanian artist Carol Acereto. A stylish cement platform sofa, with leather recliners, decorate the living room. The new furnishings are custom made after the designs of a modernist Mexican architect. A dramatic media center is equipped with international TV, a library of movies, internet, local and international calling and a blue tooth sound system. It is elegant comfortable. A handsome dining area is equipped with a round table comfortable for 6 for games or a meal. All of this is in stark contract to the hodge podge of worn furniture in many condo rentals.

If you love to cook, you will be amazed at this modern white maple kitchen. Granite counter tops with a spacious serving buffet bar, an induction cook top and oven, excellent appliances and the complete equipment to prepare and serve your crew.

The Master Bedroom has a king bed with a new pillow top mattress. The room features a custom made dresser to complement the large closet with wardrobe, shelving and and a convenient valuables safe. Because of the size of the master, there is a sitting/reading area for your enjoyment in front of the glass oceanview doors and private balcony for inside/outside living. A separate vanity area is close with "his and hers" sinks and mirrors across from your all tile private bath with a large shower and shower seat. Bedroom Two is equally spacious, featuring a king bed, custom dresser and an equally large storage closet and wardrobe. Not to be denied the beauty that is available, there is a private balcony with a jungle view. This second bathroom also has a separate vanity with a tiled private bath and walk-in shower.

A typical condo design provides small third bedroom accomadations. Not here, even the third bedroom is spacious with a King bed, a stunning hand made wardrobe with drawers and space enough to hang your clothes. If you are oftered the third bedroom, there is a large window with a view of the ocean and a comfortable chair for reading. You also have your own vanity area and the largest bath and shower room in the condo. No one in this condo is cheated in comfort, privacy or Caribbean views.

Also be aware that the condo has a newly equipped laundry to freshen you clothes during the week and dry your towels.

After 16 years of owning, living and renting ocean front properties in Cozumel, we can honestly say this condo is unsurpassed in elegance in anything we have seen on the island. And all of this sits in front of the clearest, bluest Caribbean waters on Cozumel Island. We are thrilled with this condo as it is a join venture with our daughter, Wendy and her husband Joe.

There are reasons why our.condos have one of the highest returning guest rates on the island. First is the unique location. If you are considering a condo rental, first ask ''is it right on the ocean?'' Many condos that advertise ''right on the ocean'' are actually buried in high density complexes near the ocean or located in high rise condos that feel more like apartments than private condos. Our condos are located on the most pristine north shore of Cozumel- the Costera Norte. A new lighted walking trail runs by the front of the condo for 3 miles. The golf course is a mile and a half north the center of town a mile and a half south. We take our walks at 11 pm, enjoying to safety of Isla Cozumel.

We owned an historic Inn in Stillwater Minnesota for 18 years. We know how quickly a property can become a ''rental''. Our goal is to make this condo feel like you are staying in the owner"s home, which indeed you are!

We provide regular maid service, included in the price. Edwardo, our representative has developed the contacts to offer VIP level service for Cozumel and mainland excursions, adventures, in-condo meal service and rental cars. Best way to stay in Cozumel!

We loved staying at this beautiful condo in Cozumel! The views are amazing in the condo and from the pool. It is so comfortable and will suit the needs or couples or families for your vacation. Make sure you take advantage of the restaurants on the island and the guide that they will give you before you come, as they are simply amazing! No need for bringing your own entertainment as they have the condo filled with books and movies! Being able to cook a little and then eat out is the perfect vacaiton combination. We enjoyed our week so much and would highly recommend this place to anyone!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, amazing views.

Miramar 302 had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. This is a quiet condo away from town with plenty of room at the pool for lounging and playing. Three king size beds and three full bathrooms were perfect for six adults so that we weren't stepping over each other. Loved the balcony overlooking the water and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. Wifi worked great. We snorkeled almost every day right up and down the reef in front of the condo (thank you for supplying several sets of snorkel gear that worked well!) and enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go. The condo manager, Laura, as well as the owners were available for calls and questions, and Eduardo met us there when we arrived to orient us....he can also set you up with any tour or excursion you would want to experience this beautiful island.

Spectacular!

We had a wonderful stay at Miramar 302! The condo itself is beautiful with plentiful art to make it very comfortable and attractive. There are three large bedrooms and plenty of living space. The kitchen is modern and well designed. We cooked most of our meals in the condo and had everything we needed. It is in a very quiet part of the island which is our most important feature when renting. There is a nice restaurant within walking distance. The pool area is well maintained and beautiful. We had fun watching a woman take advantage of the diving platform into the ocean to perform numerous dives from her competition days. There are stairs down to the ocean with easy access for snorkeling. I had a great time floating with the current and exiting up the coast a bit with an easy walk back to the condo. Plenty to see right next to the sea wall! Truitt and Jill were great! We didn't research the car ferry properly and called Jill in a panic. They gave us directions and helped us find the ferry in time. Overall great vacation!

Exceeded Expectations

This is my second time to Cozumel. The first time I stayed in an all-inclusive and this time we rented the Miramar 302 condo. I will never go back to an all-inclusive experience. The condo was immaculate and very well-cared for with fantastic views and amazing sunsets. There are many great restaurants on the island and the kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook a meal to enjoy the great balcony overlooking the ocean. Additionally, I've snorkeled all over the island and the 50 yard stretch behind the condo was some of the best I'd experienced on the island. It's a quick, easy taxi ride to town. The owners are very attentive and trustworthy and treat you like family. Highly recommend this condo and location!

Peaceful relaxation

Outstanding property. This was our second time renting from this particular owner and both have gone very well. This property is exceptional, well appointed and comfortable. Pool and common areas are well maintained and the view is as good as it gets. We will definitely be back.

Best snorkeling on the island right at the condo!

Great snorkeling - hundred's of colorful fish, small stingrays, and vibrant coral formations. Loved sitting out on the balcony looking at the beautiful ocean while drinking coffee or beer. You have the perfect view of the sunset from the pool or balconies. They have everything you need in the condo besides grocery items. Lots of bath and beach towels and plenty of purified water. Everything inside is up to date - clean, pretty and a comforting beachy atmosphere. We were able to watch Netflix from the living room or choose from dozens of DVD's. We didn't rent a car and honestly didn't need to. The condo is a quick taxi drive to town - about 6 bucks a trip. Great restaurants close by and the airport is 5-8 minute drive. It's a three bedroom condo with 3 king size beds, so there's plenty of space for a big family or couples. This is our second time to rent from this family. We've rented their downstairs condo at Miramar and adore that one as well. This one provides more space with lovely bathrooms and upgrades. We will definitely be coming back!

Wendy works in hospital administration while Joe has worked at a community bank for over 20 years. Our family enjoys many activities together including biking, hiking, water & snow skiing, swimming, triathlons, snowmobiling and anything else that involves being outdoors. If you have ever experienced a frigid Minnesota winter you can understand why we love spending time on the warm, beautiful island of Cozumel. We know all about lakes and water in Minnesota, but there is nothing on this earth that compares to the amazingly beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean. From the moment you plunge into the sea it enfolds you, and the stress of life melts away. You become quickly hooked on this new experience, filled with vibrant colors, delicious food, and friendly culture. Our visits here spanned a little over 10 years when we decided this was a place where we would some day live for more than just the timeframe allowed by a vacation. So we began to dream and imagine how we could build a home in Cozumel.

What makes this condo unique

Wendy's parents, Truett & Jill Lawson, owned and operated a very successful Bed and Breakfast in Stillwater Minnesota, acquiring vast knowledge of what travelers and vacationers are looking for. Cozumel is a place they fell in love with immediately and they have owned another condo at Miramar for 7 years. We had visited other condos on the island, but MiraMar has always been our favorite, so we decided to purchase this condo together with Truett & Jill. The size of the building gives it a very private feel that the large buildings simply can not match. We come to Cozumel to relax, not to battle for pool space or wait in an elevator. In MiraMar you are ON the ocean, not within "walking distance" of the ocean. This is where we wanted to be. There was a unit in the building that was owned by a Mexican owner that was never finished. We loved the idea of building our home exactly how we would want it for ourselves and for our friends and guests. So we pursued the owner and soon found ourselves signing a purchase agreement with sale completed in November 2014. We had contacts with some the most skilled craftsmen on the island, and we proceeded to finish the condo to the highest standards possible, with Wendy's parents there to oversee the project, ensuring it was completed to our expectations. We were fortunate to have developed a relationship with a regional Mexican artist whose work has been featured at the Museum and other prominent galleries. We purchased two of her original works and commissioned her to paint 5 arches that span the grand hallway of the condo. You can probably sense that we are proud and thrilled with the outcome. We hope you will share in this excitement by being a guest in our new home. We want to welcome you to amazing Cozumel!!
