TRAVELER'S NOTE; BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF SHORELINE AND THE NATURAL OCEAN CURRENTS IN FRONT OF THE CONDO, WE DO NOT HAVE A SEA WEED PROBLEM IN THIS CONDO.
The Miramar Condominium structure is uniquely modern and, charmingly vintage Caribbean. Bougainvillea cover the entrance walls while modern terraced balconies dramatically expose the blue Caribbean to all 12 units. You will experience intimacy, privacy and elegance... in sharp contrast to overcrowded condo towers and time share hotels.
This previously unfinished third floor Miramar condo is now renovated to the highest standards possible. An easy one flight of stairs up, we sit at the top of the palms in the finest shoreline in Cozumel.
Miramar's 60 foot pool and sunning area is a symphony of water, tile and grass. The pool is large enough to do laps and includes a water jet spa. Snorkling is fantastic with a convenient ladder entry. The unique jump off platform is an extremeSport challenge for young and old. But there is a stairway to easy ocean entrance and exit.
Just renovated in June 2015, everything you touch will feel fresh and pristine. Five arched alcoves are dramatically painted like windows by respected Yucatanian artist Carol Acereto. A stylish cement platform sofa, with leather recliners, decorate the living room. The new furnishings are custom made after the designs of a modernist Mexican architect. A dramatic media center is equipped with international TV, a library of movies, internet, local and international calling and a blue tooth sound system. It is elegant comfortable. A handsome dining area is equipped with a round table comfortable for 6 for games or a meal. All of this is in stark contract to the hodge podge of worn furniture in many condo rentals.
If you love to cook, you will be amazed at this modern white maple kitchen. Granite counter tops with a spacious serving buffet bar, an induction cook top and oven, excellent appliances and the complete equipment to prepare and serve your crew.
The Master Bedroom has a king bed with a new pillow top mattress. The room features a custom made dresser to complement the large closet with wardrobe, shelving and and a convenient valuables safe. Because of the size of the master, there is a sitting/reading area for your enjoyment in front of the glass oceanview doors and private balcony for inside/outside living. A separate vanity area is close with "his and hers" sinks and mirrors across from your all tile private bath with a large shower and shower seat. Bedroom Two is equally spacious, featuring a king bed, custom dresser and an equally large storage closet and wardrobe. Not to be denied the beauty that is available, there is a private balcony with a jungle view. This second bathroom also has a separate vanity with a tiled private bath and walk-in shower.
A typical condo design provides small third bedroom accomadations. Not here, even the third bedroom is spacious with a King bed, a stunning hand made wardrobe with drawers and space enough to hang your clothes. If you are oftered the third bedroom, there is a large window with a view of the ocean and a comfortable chair for reading. You also have your own vanity area and the largest bath and shower room in the condo. No one in this condo is cheated in comfort, privacy or Caribbean views.
Also be aware that the condo has a newly equipped laundry to freshen you clothes during the week and dry your towels.
After 16 years of owning, living and renting ocean front properties in Cozumel, we can honestly say this condo is unsurpassed in elegance in anything we have seen on the island. And all of this sits in front of the clearest, bluest Caribbean waters on Cozumel Island. We are thrilled with this condo as it is a join venture with our daughter, Wendy and her husband Joe.
There are reasons why our.condos have one of the highest returning guest rates on the island. First is the unique location. If you are considering a condo rental, first ask ''is it right on the ocean?'' Many condos that advertise ''right on the ocean'' are actually buried in high density complexes near the ocean or located in high rise condos that feel more like apartments than private condos. Our condos are located on the most pristine north shore of Cozumel- the Costera Norte. A new lighted walking trail runs by the front of the condo for 3 miles. The golf course is a mile and a half north the center of town a mile and a half south. We take our walks at 11 pm, enjoying to safety of Isla Cozumel.
We owned an historic Inn in Stillwater Minnesota for 18 years. We know how quickly a property can become a ''rental''. Our goal is to make this condo feel like you are staying in the owner"s home, which indeed you are!
We provide regular maid service, included in the price. Edwardo, our representative has developed the contacts to offer VIP level service for Cozumel and mainland excursions, adventures, in-condo meal service and rental cars. Be aware, however, that our other three Cozumel oceanfront condos have over 70 reviews on this site and we have only once received less than a 5... that was a 4.5. T&J
Edwardo is our greeter and is able to provide VIP service for sailboat excursions, snorkeling trips, island tours, car rentals and adventure trips. Day trips to the Yucatan mainland are available either guided or on your own.

Seasonal rates do not apply on special events such as Christmas, New Years, Easter Iron Man (Thanksgiving), the fall ITU Triathelon and others as determined by the owners.
