About Scott A. Meier

My family has lived in this Grande Milwaukee neighborhood for over twenty years and I am so proud to call Washington Heights my home. We have restored many unique architectural gems in Washington Heights, with published stories and pictures in the

Milwaukee Journal, Bungalow Magazine, and our very own local neighborhood newspaper, The Washington Highlighter.

Scott A. Meier purchased this apartment in 2012

Why Scott A. Meier chose Washington Heights

Over twenty years ago, we initially purchased the sister duplex next door and made it our home for many years. When this duplex became available...it was a dream come true to own the two duplexes, designed and constructed for the Peck family so many years ago.

Immaculate, historic home.

  • 4 of 5

We had five people in our group. The house is a nice size for a group . Beautiful artistic touches. It is in a safe area. Very well maintained. We enjoyed looking at all of the architectural details. The only recommendations I would make would be to provide wash clothes and bar soap. We were not able to get the tv in the bedroom to work, but we were so busy visiting family that we didn’t really need it.

So homey and in a neat area!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this home. It is beautiful and so homey. We really liked the area. We took our little ones to the zoo, and it was a great halfway point between downtown and family that live in Brookfield. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful duplex.

  • 5 of 5

A family wedding brought us to Milwaukee in February and we chose to spend our four nights at this beautiful historic home. It was warm and comfortable and a great place to retreat to in the evenings. Two of our favorite activities with our family were touring the Pabst Mansion and going to our first escape room, Escape Milwaukee. Our favorite restaurant was the Blues Egg. I would highly suggest this rental!
