This recently remodeled, fully stocked and tastefully decorated 3-story, 4-bedroom condominium is located just a short walk (or 2-minute free shuttle ride) from the ski slopes and Village at Northstar. Access to the NPOA recreation center gives you amazing hotel-like amenities (large swimming pools, hot tubs, state-of-the-art gym and tennis courts), while maintaining the privacy and convenience of staying in a real home. The facilities (pool, tennis courts etc) are open, and Truckee is in Stage 3, so restaurants have dine-in service and all shops have reopened. Per the governors executive order, all gyms in California are closed. And because our home is brand new and we are just getting started, we are offering an amazing introductory rate to our first few renters so we can build up our reviews. THE HOUSE: Mountain Oasis is perfect for a large family, two families who want to share a vacation, or a large group of friends. The home has two masters. On the third floor, the private master bedroom has vaulted, 20-foot ceilings, a king size bed with a brand new mattress and luxury sheets, and a private sink. The 2nd bedroom, also located on the 3rd floor, has three beds and a loft space for playtime or another sleeper. There is one bunkbed (two beds) and another twin, plus the loft space - it is perfect for children or friends. These bedrooms share a recently renovated bathroom, with a large soaking tub and shower. There are two balconies, one with a BBQ.

The second floor features an open living/dining plan. It has a newly remodeled, fully-stocked kitchen, a dining table which seats 6, plus 3 more at the bar, and a large, brand new sectional facing a roaring gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. The second floor also has a complimentary washer and dryer if you’d like to do laundry while on longer stays. It also has a balcony with outdoor seating and a grill for BBQing.

The first floor has two additional large bedrooms (a king sized bed outfitted with luxury sheets, a balcony, and a second bedroom with two twins) and one bathroom with a large soaking tub and shower.

RECREATION CENTER: our home includes access to the NPOA recreation center, which includes swimming, tennis, a Fitness Center, arcade and family activities. There are:
• Two massive heated swimming pools (one for the family, one adults only), and one baby pool for infants/toddlers
• Three hot tubs
• Wood saunas
• 10 cushioned tennis courts. Certified instructors teach an array of classes and clinics for all ages.
• BBQ grills and picnic areas that you can reserve
• A large gym with weights and every machine imaginable
• A playground and the Bear Hut, where daily activities for kids include making stuffed animals and tie-dye shirts.
• The Game Room includes air-hockey, foosball, ping pong, video games, pool tables, and a TV room.
Our kids absolutely love the rec center- if it were up to them, they would spend their entire vacation here, playing with new friends they meet. You can take the free shuttle to the rec center, or there is free parking for homeowners only (which is a HUGE benefit to you, as this normally costs $30 a day).

NORTHSTAR VILLAGE AMENITIES: The Northstar Village is less than a half mile walk away or can be reached via the complimentary free shuttle where you will enjoy popular restaurants (Rubicon Pizza), cafes (Starbucks), boutiques, the spa, the APEX Bungee and Rope Challenge, and the massive ice/roller skating ring. Enjoying S’mores at one of the fire pits while watching the kids ice skate is one of our favorite pastimes. During the summer months, there are tons of kids activities from mini-golf to gold-mining for gems.

HIKING: Hiking enthusiasts can walk right out the door to a gorgeous 10 mile trail through Martis Valley. The trail head is literally steps from our home (see picture with the rainbow that we took during one of our vacations).

BIKING: With over 100 miles of trails ranging from novice to professional, Northstar features one of the best mountain biking parks in California. During the summer season, the transport lifts operate full time. The Village has a full-service bike shop where you can rent bikes or repair your flat tire.

GOLF: Golfing enthusiasts will enjoy Northstar’s 18-hole championship golf course that features a links-style front nine and mountain-style back nine. Their open deck cafe overlooking The Martis Valley Creek serves great burgers and salads.

TAXES: We collect and remit 11% of booking amount in taxes, which is comprised of: 10% Sales and Lodging Tax, and 1% in North Lake Tahoe Tourism Business Improvement District taxs.
