Close to Kitsilano Community Centre offering public gym and numerous adult recreational programs.

This beautiful property is a 2 bed, 2 bath, vertical duplex with a stone-paved patio and a balcony on the upper level. It is a fully modernized 4 level town-home including one bed and bath on the lowest level, living room with pull-out sofa bed, dining area and kitchen on the main level, and the second bedroom and bath on the upper levels. The vertical layout means that the bedrooms are separated by the living room and kitchen on the main floor.

The home has a full TV package, free Wi-Fi and features hardwood floors throughout. The living room has lots of natural light and there is an open dining area off the kitchen. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances and lovely wood cabinetry. All bathrooms have high end fixtures, granite counter-tops and wood vanities.

All linens and towels are provided, along with a coffee maker and complimentary coffee and tea. Bath and hand soap and shampoo/conditioner are also supplied.

All the furniture in the property is newer due to being a fairly new rental property. The house is located in a very walk-able neighborhood with cafes, restaurants, shopping, bakeries, groceries and much more less than 10 minutes away. If you decided to venture out and would like to take a car, there is a Zipcar lot one block away. Get your Zipcar car sharing membership before you arrive and have access to a car when you want it.

Charming townhouse in the Kitsilano district

We are happy we found this townhouse and stayed in the Kitsilano district rather than staying in a high-rise apartment complex in the downtown area, where parking would certainly have been an issue. We were two couples and the configuration of the structure was ideal for offering us privacy from each other. The neighborhood is quiet and free from traffic noise. The location is ideal for local restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. (Whole Foods is only a short distance away). Highly recommend. Sean is a great host. He is attentive to the needs of his guests.

Conveniently located, clean, well appointed, quiet.

We found this townhome to be perfect for our needs (family of four). The owner was flexible and accommodated our need to drop off our luggage early and to delay our departure time. The unit is very clean and well located for walking access to restaurants, shops and public transportation. Although not a problem for us, the unit has four floors and navigating stairs is required. Those who have difficulty with stairs should take this into consideration. We plan on renting this unit again on future visits to Vancouver.

Excellent Location

The house is in a perfect location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and to Kits beach. Lovely neighborhood atmosphere. Unit was clean, but be prepared for 5 flights of stairs. Wish the kitchen was more stocked with utensils and pans, since we (family of 6) cooked all breakfasts and some dinners there. Otherwise, cozy, clean, quiet unit. The oversize washer and dryer was a huge advantage since we did our own housekeeping. Internet/wi-fi was a plus!! Would definitely return to this house on Trafalgar!

Beautiful, clean, sunlit, well-equipped home made for an enjoyable stay

I recently took a short vacation to Vancouver with my family and this home served as a terrific "home away from home" during our stay. The kitchen was thoughtfully supplied with basic appliances, utensils and non-perishable cooking items. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfy. We enjoyed being walking distance from a number of restaurants and coffee shops and a short drive to a number of local tourist attractions.

My only critique is this: there are a number of staircases in this home separating the living room area from the kitchen and two bedrooms. If you are traveling with anyone who is elderly, has mobility issues, or with little ones - you should factor this into your travel plans - as it can make getting around within the home somewhat difficult.

Great space in a great neighborhood

My wife and I stayed with our two girls (6&8) and there was plenty of space for us all to relax after busy days around town. We really enjoyed being in a neighborhood we probably wouldn't have visited if we stayed in a hotel. There were lots of restaurants and interesting shops within a 5-10 minute walk, and the ocean and a great public pool were also an easy walk. It was always quick to get a cab and the fares to Granville Island, Stanley Park, and downtown were reasonable.

We love Kitsilano because of the options and convenience. We love being able to walk to restaurants, cafes, shopping, parks and the beach. We often don't use our car on the weekends, preferring to explore our neighborhood on foot or two wheels.

With a walk score of 89 out of 100 along with a fabulous bike score of 80 and transit score of 75 you will find that everything you could want to do in Vancouver is virtually at your doorstep.

We strive to make our vacation rental an inviting place where people can relax and enjoy Vancouver. Comfy beds, a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable living room help make our home the perfect stopover on your travels.

What makes this townhome unique

Our home has two bedrooms on two different floors, separated by the living room and kitchen on the main floor. This makes it a great layout for a family with children our two couples traveling together. Both bedrooms have their own full bathrooms.

The house is situated in such a way that the kitchen is full of sunshine in the mornings and the living room in the afternoons. A cozy patio off the upper bedroom is the perfect place to enjoy an evening beverage while taking in the Vancouver sunset.

Our Kitsilano townhouse is located 8 blocks from the water, a 7 minute drive to downtown and a 15-20 minute walk to Kits Beach and Kits Pool - the longest salt salt water pool in Canada. Only blocks away from restaurants, cafe's and boutiques, you don't need a car when staying at our property. The Sunshine Diner is close by for all day breakfast. Feel like Thai food? Then try Thai Cuisine by Montri, one of the best known names in Thai food in Vancouver. Vegan? The Naam is open 24 hours. The options are endless and within walking distance.

To get to downtown you can take one bus to get right into the heart of downtown - Robson Street, The Art Gallary, Robson Square, Canada Place and the cruise ship terminal, the convention center - all within a 20 minute bus ride. Or a 7 minute drive if you have a car. There's a Zip Car a short walk away. Sign up for your membership before you visit and have access to a car or van when you need it, providing easy access to Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Stanley Park. Or take 1h40m to drive to Whistler for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

The Kitsilano Community Center provides access to a full fitness center. In the summer the playground is very popular with children. In the winter the ice rink is open - lace up your skates or rent a pair and take to the ice.

Centrally located and close to many amenities, Kitsilano is the perfect location for your vacation.
