What makes this bungalow unique

We decided to move to Glenwood Springs for the lifestyle. There are not many places where one can live in a downtown setting and have out-the-door access to amazing trails and 2 beautiful rivers.

4.5 Stars - Perfect for a short getaway!

  • 4 of 5

The bungalow was mostly what we had expected, which was a remodeled older cozy home in a great location! The size of the place is ideal for two adults, but we had two adults and a four year old, so the space was just right for a short stay without feeling too cramped (yet). The location was the best part because of the walkability to restaurants, the Hot Springs pool, all the shops, and a fire station, which our little one loved! Also, it was a short drive to many of our other activities. The A/C unit worked great but we kept a couple windows slightly opened or otherwise the house can get stuffy; however, we were very comfortable during our stay. The owner was also responsive! We didn't give it a perfect 5 for minor things like the windows not being cleaned (bugs in the window sills), a couple spider webs, not enough paper towels (we had maybe 1/4 of a roll when we arrived), and no sponges to clean dishes. Overall, we enjoyed our time and will definitely rent from here again for a short trip!

Very underwhelmed

  • 2 of 5

This place is really only big enough for 1 person. The bed takes up so much space in the bedroom you can hardly close the door. The bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom. The bathroom is very small, and one person can barely fit their toiletries in there, can't imagine 3 people trying to use it. The deck has a lovely view of the garbage dumpsters from the business that this place sits behind (in an alley) which totally turned us off from wanting to BBQ. No air movement in the place, except from a small fan. I can't imagine what it's like to stay there in August. You can't leave the windows open because they sit so low (look at the photos) that someone can literally cut the screen and step into the place, and the sidewalk is right next to the windows.. Trying to watch the TV was hard on our necks. My wife gave up and just viewed her notepad. We regret renting this place and won't do it again.

Ideal location for Glenwood.

  • 4 of 5

The location is ideal with only a few steps to restaurant row and an easy walk to downtown and the hot springs. Even the new Iron Mtn Hot Springs is walkable. We appreciated that it's a private residence and not a section inside someone else's house. The off street parking is very nice. The dryer was an extra special feature due to the wet suits and towels from the pools. Great stay. 5th star reserved for opulence.

Great location and easy access to everything.

Small quiet place perfect for two or one. The accessibility of the main street made all worthwhile. Everything provided was all we needed. Kayce A. was a great host and answered my questionso promply.

Downtown jewel!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved the location of this cute tiny home. My sister & I were able to walk everywhere downtown. Tour guide is one block over: we rented bikes, they drove us to the beginning of the glenwood canyon, and we rode the 14 mile trek back home. We them made reservations at Vaudeville Revue: absolutely hilarious & something fun to do in the evening.

The place was very clean & comfortable! Thanks so much!
