Great location
My family stayed in this home for 4 nights and we loved it. It is in a great location. Easy to get to Old Town and Downtown. Not too far from Meow Wolfe, Chimayo, the Fire and Ice cave, or even some of Route 66. Shariesse, our host, left toys out for the young one we were with, and she had a blast. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, cups, plates, and cookware. We enjoyed our stay.

Visit to grandkids
This is a lovely property with a great view. The home was cozy and stocked with all necessary items. We loved the local coffee left by Shariesse and Phyllis. More importantly the hosts were generous with their personal grandchildren items and left the house stocked with toys for our grandkids...including outdoor toys to play with in the BEAUTIFUL backyard.

We are a mother-daughter team who pay special attention to detail. We are Vrbo Premier Hosts, established in May 2015. We have had a lot of fun hosting and developing friendships

Critter watching is a favorite hobby. We have logged over 60 species of birds in the field guide that have come to the feeders. We like to watch the squirrels and bunnies play. We offer peanut butter, jelly, suet and seed. The baby quail are just darling

Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from the backyard and veranda. It is peaceful to watch the mountains change colors in the evening from pink to purple to gray.

Why they chose this property

The views, of course ;-) Tesoro del Alma “Treasure of the Soul” is located on a golf course, and we can see for miles in all directions -- Sandia and Manzano Mountains to the east, city to the south, petroglyphs to the west, and open skies to the north. The colors of the mountain change throughout the day and in the evenings turn from pink to purple to gray. The two-story home is just the right size -- about 1591 square feet. It is peaceful to sit on the private veranda or fenced patio. More than 99 species of birds, including quail, finches, roadrunners, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds have visited the property. It's always fun to see hot air balloons glide over the house and sometimes land on the golf course just yards away. The backyard is well manicured with Kentucky Blue Grass, flowers, and vines. There is easy access to popular sites -- Balloon Fiesta Park, Sandia Peak Tram, Zoo, Old Town, Railrunner, Sawmill District, museums, Rio Grande River. There are several parks within walking distance -- a neighborhood park, 18-hole Disc course, tennis courts, playground, dog park and Petroglyph National Monument. It’s about 11 miles from Albuquerque International Airport. Just a mile from the interstate and minutes from hospitals, banks, grocery stores, and shopping malls. Santa Fe is about an hour away.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular views of golf course, mountains and petroglyphs from the patio, backyard, veranda, and thirteen windows and sliding doors. Hot air ballons glide overhead and land on the golf course. Baby quail visit the property in the spring and hummingbirds visit in the summer and fall.
