ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME. NEWLY REMODELED KITCHEN AND TILE FLOORING. NICE FLOOR PLAN. REFRIGERATED AIR CONDITIONING.

RECENT REMODEL: Fall 2017 a local builder-designer transformed our kitchen with contemporary cabinets and hardware, quartz countertops, rheostat lighting, and a stainless steel deep sink. We also installed tile flooring downstairs for a clean, sleek look. We have new GE slate appliances (side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker and water, microwave/convection oven, electric oven and stove, quiet dishwasher). Our guests tell us it is amazing!

TV/WIFI: 48” flat screen TV in living room and flat screen TVs mounted in master bedroom and third bedroom. Free WI-FI (150 Mbps —- Fast!). Premier Xfinity Cable Channels. Docking stations for phone/tablet/computer.

PROPERTY: You will love our two-story, three bedroom townhouse located on a city golf course with specatular views of Sandia and Manzano Mountains from the deck, patio and 13 windows. Refrigerated air conditioning (not swamp cooler). Partial view of Petroglyph National Park. Balloons glide overhead and sometimes land on the golf course. Three bedrooms upstairs with deck off the master bedroom with two rocking chairs and table. The beds have high quality mattresses -- King, Queen, and Full beds upstairs, and Eurobed downstairs. Well-groomed backyard with beautiful Kentucky Bluegrass, flower gardens, two patio tables with umbrellas, bird feeders, BBQ grill. Open style kitchen/family room. Quiet neighborhood. Two vehicle parking in driveway. Three ceiling fans and free standing fans.

WILDLIFE: Our property sits on a city golf course, so there is plenty of wildlife: Quail, Sandhill cranes, snow geese, Canadian geese, Cooperhawks, roadrunners, finches, hummingbirds, rabbits, squirrels, and butterflies are often seen.

LOCATION: Just minutes from airport, Downtown, Old Town, Balloon Fiesta Park, zoo, biopark, children’s museum, brew pubs, restaurants, hospitals, hiking trails, shopping, banks, grocery stores. Walking distance from several parks -- neighborhood park, 18-hole Frisbee course, and Petroglyph National Park. Property sits on public golf course.

KITCHEN: Remodeled October 2017. New GE stainless steel appliances. Quartz countertops. Fully equipped with Ninja blender, crockpot, tea pot, Keurig, coffee pot, four-slice toaster, rice maker, dishes, flatware, glassware, wine glasses, bakeware, pots and pans, mixing bowls, roaster, platters, plastic glasses, utensils, baking sheets, cutting boards, spices, hot pads, mittens, Tupperware, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, plastic wrap, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, sponges, cleaning supplies and more.

OTHER AMENITIES: We provide many extra amenities that are typically not provided in other properties: Outdoor BBQ grill, treadmill and free weights, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, two hair dryers, makeup mirror, full length mirror, kid’s potty seat, toys, board games. Plenty of hangers, closet space and use of the chest of drawers. Luggage stands. Complementary coffee and tea. Linens and towels. Laundry soap, fabric softener, and stain remover. Flashlights, umbrellas, ice scraper. Sewing kit, shoe-shining kit, and first aid kit. Cookbooks. Shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand lotion, q-tips, cotton balls, Kleenex, toilet paper. We easily give our stay a 5 star rating. The home is sparkling clean, nicely and brightly furnished with every possible accommodation. Shariesse, the owner, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we might need during our stay. Very comfortable & cozy. Great view of Albuquerque lights from the upper deck in the evening. We will come again.

Beyond Expectations

A true home away from home! Shariesse is so easy to work with & so accommodating! Everything was perfect. The property is located close to many attractions & parks. The views are spectacular, we saw balloons every morning & the quails are so much fun to watch! Shariesse provided us with all the comforts of home, her extra touches included flowers in the rooms, luxury towels, a welcome basket, fully equipment kitchen with coffee & tea! The home was clean & beds comfortable. She responsed immediately to any questions & was a great resource in planning our trip. We can’t wait to visit again & highly recommend this home.

This townhome was very clean, conveniently located to the west side of Albuquerque and Old Town.

We really enjoyed working with Shariesse and Phyllis! From the first phone call asking if the property would fit our needs to the warm, personal communication when we arrived and a very pleasant sendoff on our way home. Their home was clean and well equipped. We had a brand new kitchen to play in and we enjoyed using all the new appliances. We opened the windows rather than use the air conditioner, so we heard more neighborhood noise than we expected but all the neighbors were pleasant and it got quiet just after nine each night. :) This was perfectly located for our needs, very close to friends we were visiting, not far off the I-40 freeway. Close to all sorts of shopping (old town tourist shopping, grocery, hardware & clothing). We will definitely choose to stay here again! (Steve, Elizabeth, Mike & Laura)

AMAZING!!!!

Is there a six star rating available?? :-) This property is a spectacular "home away from home"! Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots and utensils you would need for any cooking. The gas grill is awesome. The back patio is a wonderful spot to soak up the day with the beautiful mountains in the background. Zero traffic noise but yet it is one mile from Walmart, Krispy Kreme, and many others "hot spots". My wife and I with our three children loved our time here. We will definitely stay here again, Lord-willing!

Better than expected! Owners went above and beyond.

I recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet get away. The house was fabulous. The rooms were spacious and the view was spectacular. The location was great for our purposes, in a quiet neighborhood and easy access to I-40. The owners were very attentive, with a cool house and soft music playing on arrival to daily check-ins to make sure everything was going well. From the very beginning they were concerned about the house being the best fit for me and my family of 6. It was! I have no complaints. I had high expectations because of the pictures and those expectations were exceeded.

Plan on having extra time to spend at the house enjoying the back yard. Watching the birds and seeing the occasional hot air balloon were unexpected treats.

My family consisted of me and my wife, my recently retired parents, and my two preteen girls. All of us loved the house. If available, I will stay here on every trip a make to Albuquerque.

The experience was the best we could possibly have!

We spoke with the owner several times to make sure our expectations met hers in providing her home for our stay. When we arrived, there were food gifts for us, and again she was very accessible for questions. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked and comfortable. There are lovely views of the golf course and mountains. The beds are comfortable, and the area is quiet. We had lovely breakfasts each day and enjoyed having only a short commute to our daughter's home. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Albuquerque.

About Shariesse Taylor McCannon

My mother and I own and manage the property, and my brothers help with maintenace. We started with VRBO in May 2015, and we have had a lot of fun.

Bird watching is a favorite hobby. I have logged over 50 species of birds in my field guide that have come to my feeders. I feed them peanut butter and jelly, suet and seed. The baby Quail are just darling. It is peaceful to watch the mountains change colors in the evening from pink to purple to gray. I love to be outdoors.

Why Shariesse Taylor McCannon chose Ladera West

The view, of course ;-)) Tesoro del Alma is located on a golf course and I can see for miles in all directions -- Sandia Mountains to the east, the city to the south, Petrogyyphs to the west, and golf course to the north. The colors of the mountain change throughout the day, and in the evenings turn from pink to purple to gray. The 2-story townhouse is just the right size -- about 1700 square feet. It is peaceful to sit on the veranda or patio More than 50 species of birds, including finches, roadrunners, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds have visited the property. It's always fun to see hot air balloons fly over the house and sometimes land on the golf course just yards from the property. The back yard is well manicured with Kentucky Blue Grass, flowers, and vines. There is easy access to all the popular sites -- Balloon Fiesta Park, Zoo, Old Town, Railrunner, BioPark, Museums, Rio Grande River. There are several parks within walking distance -- a neighborhood park, 18-hole Frisbee course, Dog Park and the Petroglyph National Park. It is 11 miles from Albuquerque International Airport. Just a mile from the interstate and minutes from hospitals, banks, grocery stores, and shopping malls. Santa Fe is about an hour away.
