Welcome to our seventh floor penthouse with SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the slopes from every window and balcony! The Village at Breckenridge is a year-round western-style resort and is nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains at the base of the Ten Mile Range. Shavano, historically called the Plaza 2 building, is located only 50 yards from the Quicksilver Super 6 Chairlift (Shavano is the closest condominium building to the Quicksilver lift!!). In addition, this building is only one block from Main Street--convenient to both shops and restaurants.

This condo has been professionally decorated with a river rock fireplace, antler chandelier, slate flooring and countertops. The walls are decorated with antique wood skis, toboggan and snow shoes. The two balconies offer amazing panoramic views of Peak 9 and the Arapaho National Forest.

The Master bedroom suite has a king-sized bed and private bathroom, and the second bedroom has a twin loft over a queen size bed. The kitchen is fully-equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove, coffee-maker, microwave and dishwasher. Separate dining area and living room with a leather sofa (queen-size sleeper). Wi-Fi internet access is free.

Great location

Location is ideal for skiing on Peak 9 and walking to shops and restaurants. The views from the balcony are beautiful. Owner was gracious and responsive when we contacted her for assistance. We were not left wifi access info and one of the humidifiers was unusable due to a missing part. She helped us as much as she was able to but we really needed working humidifiers in both bedrooms. We probably would not stay at this particular building again because the water pressure was really low and we were woken up by the snowcats early in the morning in the ski school area- once at 4:00 am...certainly no fault of the owner.

Location Nice for Skiing from Peak 9. Would Not Return.

This location was convenient for skiing with children, however we had a few issues.

The master bed is incredibly wobbly, and master shower/toilet area is tiny. Master bedding is very thin and the extra blankets provided all had stains and smelled horrible. Not something I was going to put on my child, nor did I want to waste time on my vacation addressing. I was told they are "washed after very season". WHAT!?!? Efforts were made to rectify these situations in a timely manner, however unsuccessfully. I was basically told to find a hotel next time. I love this location and have had other successful VRBO experiences in this area. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.

Great Location

A buddy and I wanted to get away for a long weekend of skiing. I happened upon this Penthouse on Peak 9 and it seemed like it would be a good fit for what we were looking to do. Let me tell you, the location was absolutely perfect! Throughout the day, we could come and go off the mountain as we pleased and at night, we were just steps away from all that Main Street has to offer. This penthouse was very comfortable, as well as clean, and offered spectacular views of the mountain! I would absolutely come back and stay again!

I love Breck!

We visited Breck for several days and stayed at the Village Penthouse on Peak 9. We were very satisfied with our lodging accommodations. The location was great and the owners were very pleasant. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect location and amenities

This condo was centrally located in Breckenridge Village close to everything. We were there in the summer but I can see it would be perfect for ski season as well. Fit our family of five comfortably and owner was accessible. Had a wonderful time!

Great views, convenient, comfortable

My husband, two kids and I just spent a week in this condo and had a great time. We cooked in most nights and found the kitchen to be fully equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Views from the balconies were fantastic. Location is great for walking to City Market, nearby hikes, town shops/dining, or catching the recreational bike path to Frisco. Laundry facilities are across the hall as the listing notes, but to be clear, it's $4 a load and you need quarters. Change machine is in the fitness center, so it's not really inconvenient. Great perks like covered parking, pool, and hot tub. Perfect spot - we would rent again.
