* Please note: If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin where there are limits on parties, excessive drinking and loud noise, this cabin is for you! Our property is under the Indian Beach Association. All renters of the property as well as all people in the neighborhood are required to adhere to the Association's rules and regulations. No parties/excessive drinking/loud music, no events (i.e. stags/bachelorette's, grad parties, large groups...). Quiet time is strictly enforced between 11:00pm-8:00am (with respectful noise levels 24 hours a day). Our Hot Tub on our deck is Closed by 11:00pm. The Association will be monitoring the area closely this year and asking any groups not following these guidelines and/or not respecting their neighbors to leave and we will lose our renting privileges. Your introduction to this extremely unique property "The Blue Moose", begins at the parking area where you feel enclosed and welcomed. The cabin is located on top of the ravine and sits tucked into a hill making it protected and private. The Timber Frame cabin is open and connected to the outdoors; in the winter it focuses inward with a cozy warm atmosphere. The cabin, with its' arrival porch, beckons you in, while to the left, the shop sits tucked into the hill and the summer sleeping cabin is nestled into the trees on the right.

One full bathroom, one half bathroom, 3 Bedrooms - sleeps 6 with a detached Sleeping Cabin - sleeps 2. Three outdoor spaces including a large sun deck with a hot tub, covered private deck and a large screened-in porch. Great Room with a living room and kitchen with a large dining room table - seats 8 with 3 extra bar stool seats at the raised eating bar. This living space is highlighted by the open cathedral ceiling with 4 timber frame trusses and a stone faced high efficiency wood burning fire place.

A 3 minute walk to the private beach and Marina. Then, a 1 minute walk on a sandy trail brings you to a dog friendly, small sand beach with the community beach and related facilities just 3 more minutes along the shore line. Head North and you are 3 minutes away from the: playground, picnic area, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball facilities. Boating and swimming in the summer and the start of the "Whiteway" (the longest skating and cross country groomed track in Canada) in the winter.

Definitely one of a kind cabin!

Such a beautiful cabin and surrounding areas! The cabin is so well stocked and the owners literally thought of everything you could possibly think need! I loved the fact that the kitchen was stocked with a little bit of everything. The house was so clean!Beds were wonderful and so comfy! Hot tub was so wonderful after a day on the slopes! We will be back and will rent again!

Winter Getaway was a real treat!

The Blue Moose Cabin stands out in color and in comfort. We wanted a peaceful winter holiday with rest and relaxation and, that's exactly what we got. In terms of proximity, it is very close to the lake where we skated and x-country skied every day on vast trails with no crowds. The cabin itself is equipped with a wood burning fireplace, a hot tub which was a nice treat after our winter activities and plenty of room to dine, and visit. The beds are super comfortable and you could tell that a lot of time and effort went into the construction of the very unique frames. Our small family of 3 had plenty of room as it can accommodate a very large family as well. It's also a bonus to have a few pantry items stocked such as tea/coffee, some spices and a few condiments in the fridge. The Blue Moose is a place we would very much like to visit again next winter. Invermere is a hidden gem

The blue moose is a great place to launch your Columbia valley discovery. The house has got nice pine theme throughout and having the bedrooms on the first floor made for cooler nights for sleeping.

I have rented at Indian Beach for years. Cabin was in a great spot. Was very clean and full of amenities. Having AC in the -+35 weather was also fantastic for sleeping. Thanks again for having us!

Indian Beach Estates is managed by an owners Association. All guests of Blue Moose Cabin are required to follow the policies and rules of the Association or they will be asked to leave and the owners will lose their privileges for renting out their property. These guidelines are listed in the rental lease agreement as well as in the Welcome Book.

Quiet Time inside and outside the house: 11:00pm-8:00am, respectful noise levels 24hrs a day.
Hot Tub Closed by 11:00pm, No Food in the Hot Tub.
No Parties or excessive drinking/loud music inside our outside the house.
No group activities: i.e. stags/bachelorette parties, parties with any drinking/loud music, grad celebrations, large groups, etc.
