Great location and a comfortable roomy apartment make for a good home base for exploring St John's
I booked 9 nights in the apartment, basically to just dig in and get to know all that St John's has to offer. It was really quite ideal; quiet, a good bed (important!), comfortable living room, and very close to all manner of food and drink options. Nice to have the in-suite laundry, particularly for an extended stay.
One thing that could use a bit of attention is the kitchen. Many of the cupboard doors were loose in their hinges, and really should be adjusted and tightened up. The tap also needs some adjusting, to keep the water from seeping out from the loose or worn threads. But those are minor things in the big picture. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, particularly if you're looking to spend more than just a night or two. It feels like home very quickly!

An excellent home away from home! Close to everything and able to walk to downtown was a bonus!
This property is well-located with a wonderful view of Signal Hill and the harbour. The apartment is spare but clean and had a worn feel. The balcony on the top floor was an added bonus

We were comfortable in this apartment. It was spacious and the owner is "hands on". Walking to downtown wasn't a problem.
The kitchen could have been better equipped and it could have been cleaner.
Apartment sits perched over the infamous Jellybean Row. You can easily see Signal Hill and the Narrows. You can even see whales blowing and jumping in the distance. Located in historic Rawlin's Cross, you'll find that feet away are coffee shops, a major City Park (Bannerman), spa, restaurant, corner store, ice cream parlour.
