Three bedroom two full bath house less than a minute walk (500 feet) to the beach. Sleeps ten comfortably. Panoramic beach views from the wraparound front/side porch. Built in 2009 so all new systems/appliances. Three levels: ground level has swing, hammock, outdoor dining and lounging furniture, enclosed outdoor shower and restroom; main level has two bedrooms (master with queen bed and beach view; guest with full bed); full bath with shower/tub; kitchen with electric stove/oven, double-door refrigerator/freezer, built-in microwave, dishwasher and sink disposal; kitchen counter accommodating four chairs; dining area with seating for six; living area with TV, comfortable chairs and fold out queen sleeper sofa; upper level is open dormitory-style with a king, full, and twin-over-full bunk on one side, and two sofas (one a full-sized fold-out sleeper) and TV on the other; with full bath (tub/shower). Cable TV and Wi-Fi. On demand hot water heater, so no possibility of running out of hot water. Bicycles, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, croquet, and horseshoes.

About John Clark

Our family roots on the Gulf Coast go back over 300 years. Owner and wife are from New Orleans and Mobile respectively. We currently live in Mandeville, Louisiana, with our five daughters. We initially bought the house in Bay St. Louis for a weekend family getaway, but with the girls growing older and college costs growing even faster, we decided to open our much-loved house to guests. The original 125 year old Creole cottage on our lot was washed away by Hurricane Katrina; only the chimney bricks and cast iron bathtubs remained. The current house was completed in 2009.

Why John Clark chose Bay Saint Louis

Bay St. Louis is to us a magical place. There is always a sea breeze to be caught on the porch. The nights are so peaceful and quiet, and the stars so clear and bright, that it seems like you are far, far away from civilization. The beach is very accessible (no seawall) and close (about 500 feet). Downtown, with lively restaurants and cute shops, is less than a mile away, so it's the best of both worlds. It's a very family-oriented place, with plenty to do for kids once they're tired of the beach.

Love this house!

The property was clean, well-maintained, and offered all the comforts of home! Beds were comfortable and we had room for everyone. The view of the gulf was beautiful and the outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing with family. We will definitely book this property again!

Girls Weekend

This place was absolutely perfect! So comfortable, felt like home! The location was great! We were able to walk to the beach to watch the sunrise and so close to town. We will make this our "girls weekend" spot. We all loved it!

Great House - Very Convenient

Great house in quite neighborhood of Bay St Louis with great views of the beach. Very convenient to beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants in town. House is fully furnished with everything you need including bikes and toys.

The pillows are a little flat, and I’ll bring my own when I book this house on my next visit to Bay St Louis.
