Our Experience At Wilshire House
The Wilshire House is a wonderful place to stay. It is very clean and has all the amenities you would need for a short or, as in our case, more extended stay. The location couldn't be better being so close to downtown/central Phoenix. It feels like an oasis in the middle of the city and it's a great walking neighborhood. Moreover, the neighbors are very friendly and even helpful. This was our third stay at the Wilshire House and we will continue to do so during future visits to Phoenix.

Five Stars!
This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely home. This time was also perfect. The house is so cozy and in the loveliest neighborhood. Stocked with everything you might need during your stay. Stanley and Nicole are so helpful and responsive. Location is very central to lots of great things. Walking distance to a great hamburger restaurant, pizza place and cute coffee shop. We spent every morning sitting on the front patio and enjoying the birds and neighbors walking their dogs. This will definitely be our home away from home when in Phoenix.

My Experience at the Wilshire House
The house furnishings are high quality and very comfortable. The The overall decor is very nice. You'll never run out of hot water because of instant water heating unit. I believe there are solar panels on the south facing roof. The washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator are in excellent working order. I really enjoyed the spacious walk-in shower the serves the master bedroom and the king bed was very comfortable and supportive.. I enjoyed the good selection of TV cable streaming services although it took a little while to figure out how to operate the system with ease.. The xeriscaping landscaping is very well designed and a pleasure to look at. The general location or neighborhood is very nice and conveniently located near the downtown areas and the concomitant goods, services, and cultural amenities it has to offer.. The palm lined streets of this district and the well kept, lovely homes therein makes it a relative oasis within a large metropolitan area.

Holidays in Phoenix
We really enjoyed our stay. All the listing amenities were as promised. The owner, Stanley & his daughter Nicole were very easy to work with, prompt to respond to any questions & concerns. The kitchen was very well stocked, the furnishings were excellent & the BBQ grill & backyard were perfect for the nights we wanted to cook at home or spend time with our family. So, we highly recommend The Wilshire House & plan to return!

I am an independent real estate broker licensed in both Arizona and California as well as an investor in local real estate. Having been in this profession for more than 36 years, leasing, managing property, buying and selling as well as developing, I very much enjoy the challenge and joy of working with people and properties. My hobbies include reading, golf, and traveling and I also teach spinning at LA Fitness and the YMCA!

Why they chose this property

Ever since purchasing The Wilshire House in 1990, I have loved this home. It took 25 years for my daughter Nicole and me to remodel and enlarge it to its lovely condition today. The original portion of the house remains dedicated to its historic heritage while the addition is absolutely contemporary as you will see. Sharing Greater Phoenix and the historic Willo Neighborhood in Central Phoenix is a treat for me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

What makes this property unique

Being geographically at the very center of Maricopa County and the greater Phoenix Metroplex is a bonus in terms of travel times. Phoenix has a new rent-a bicycle program too with stations nearby! Please take a look at everything that is all around this locale and the convenience of being literally in the heart of the City of Phoenix, too.
Walk to the Phoenix Light Rail (The Heard stop) on Central Avenue and travel all over The Valley of the Sun!

See the saved url's for best restaurants, light rail, and the Grid Bike program. There is so much to see and do in Greater Phoenix and The Wilshire House is in the middle of it all - literally!
