About Olga & Mikhail

Our family fell in love with Tahoe the first time we came here. Buying a condo in Incline Village was an exciting decision. We made our vacation home comfortable and enjoyable for all of us. Raising three boys, we like being outdoors and value the numerous fun-filled activities to be found near Incline Village during any season. We're happy to invite those who love the serenity of Lake Tahoe as much as we do to be our guests whenever the cabin is available.

Olga & Mikhail purchased this cabin in 2014

Comfortable cozy cabin by the creek

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. This house is a great get-away, has a great selection of games, books and movies. Our kids loved it and the location by the creek is beautiful.

Olga and Mikhail were great in answering any questions we had. We look forward to coming here again ...

We just had a wonderful two+ days getaway Stay at this Exquisite Getaway Place in North Lake Tahoe, CA. Spick and Span and tastefully done up rooms. The home is a Self Contained unit in more ways than one and Very Inviting to be in. We were a family of Five who stayed there and Each of Us ENJOYED our time there.

Cozy and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We spent the Easter weekend with my family and it was a huge success. My kids enjoyed the bunk beds and we all had spaces of our own with the other two rooms. The house is so clean and equipped with everything that you need from bathroom essentials to kitchen tools. They even have toys for kids which was a nice surprise ( we made the kids put them away afterwards as we do at home). Love the beds and the bathrooms with plenty of towels to use. Would definitely be back next year for snow experience.

Perfection Worth Ten Stars!!

  • 5 of 5

If only I could give ten stars to this great place! It's difficult to write a succinct review because with so many positives, I could go on and on and on! We traveled as a multigeneration family, including "senior citizen" and toddler, and were all comfortable and happy here. Truly, there's something for everyone!!

Not only is the cabin itself wonderful, but also communication with its owners is outstanding--before, during, and after the stay. The thought and care they've put into their home is evident throughout. Online photos of its exterior and interior do not come close to the reality.

From the outside this stand-alone cabin looks small, but inside, you're greeted by expansive, beautifully decorated spaces. The icing on the cake is the back deck which overlooks a wooded area and creek whose bubbly sound added to the relaxing stay.

Furniture is very comfortable throughout-- in living room, dining area, and bedrooms.

Beds have memory foam mattresses--like sleeping on a cloud. The master bedroom is enormous, so even the large Eastern king-size bed appears small in comparison to the space around it. I slept in the queen-bed bedroom --cozy and comfy and with a delightful plaque on the opposite wall which makes you start the day with a smile. The third bedroom contains a bunk bed which has a platform to the upper bed--much better than a ladder.

There's a lovely card by the information binder, which sets the welcoming tone, and as you settle in, you find more and more to enjoy! We spent the first hour exploring and smiling at our good fortune in being here!

The modern kitchen is well-stocked with supplies, food basics, tea, coffee, condiments. The place was spotless-- not a speck of dust anywhere. Everything is well organized--even hangers in closets are grouped together by type.

We spent hours and hours on VRBO/Homeway in search of the perfect North Tahoe winter getaway. Some rentals looked cozy but the space was too small; others had long driveways off the main road (which we didn't want to risk in case of snow) some were priced too high for the size, some looked too hazardous for toddlers, some had unappealing (to us ) decor. At last, we found Creekside Cabin. It looked fine; the owner was quick, detailed, and thorough with replies. Still, until that first moment of entering, you wonder....will it be ok?

What joy that it was far better than expected!

The problem now: finding time to return. We can hardly wait!

Super cozy - well outfitted - close to everything

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at Creekside Cabin. We loved it just as much the second time. All the amenities you need are there - fully stocked kitchen, streaming media, and games for the kids. Rooms are all well-appointed and very comfortable. Love the location - close to great skiing, and restaurants and Raley's / Starbucks. Really excellent for our winter getaway. looking forward to a summer visit. Thanks Olga!
