Our facility is located in one of the most remote and beautiful places in the country. The area is famous to star gazers for its extremely dark night time skies which give excellent views through telescopes. Many observatories have been built in the area recently to capitalize on the breathtaking night time views.
The area has one of the highest densities of elk populations in the country. Many times elk will be seen in the valley below the lodge and if you take an evening drive anywhere around our facility in the mornings or evenings you will see hundreds of elk along with Antelope and Mule Deer. The area does have Bears, Mountain Lions, Bobcats, and Coyotes which are also sometimes seen near the lodge.
