Lakefront Family-Friendly "Islander" Home w/Dock! Breathtaking Open Water Views!

Located on one the most beautiful islands of Indian Lake, this property is a perfect vacation spot for those wanting to relax and enjoy a week or two away from the everyday. This lakefront home is perfectly situated on the northwest corner of Seminole Island, providing an excellent open water view of the lake. During the day, guests will be able to enjoy a fun and relaxing swimming and fishing experience as the home is located away from heavy boat traffic. In the evenings, spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the property's shoreline. After the sunset, possible activities include relaxing around the firepit, eating toasted marshmallows, and gazing at the stars!

Recently updated with complete bathroom and kitchen remodel (Completed March 2024), along with new exterior finish and interior flooring (completed March 2024), this home includes a dramatic lake room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Indian Lake, as well as a complete kitchen. Sleeping accommodations consist of 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, plus 1 1/2 baths. This home can accommodate 8 guests.

Indian Lake is located about 1 hour 30 minutes from Dayton, Ohio and 1 hour from Columbus, Ohio.

Nice place,not fancy
Comfortable, and gave us a nice gathering spot for our family to have fun together. Would have liked outdoor lights entrance and back. Kerrig pot doesn't work also.

Perfect spot
I don’t even know where to start. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, lots of outdoor seating and amazing views. We spent the entire weekend swimming, jet skiing, boating and grilling out. Thank you Mark, Gus and Archer for being great hosts.

For over 30 years, our family has enjoyed Indian Lake and all that it has provided. Our cottage on Seminole Island has been the perfect place for both adventure and leisure. Many memories with family and friends have been made over the years, and we will cherish them always.

Why they chose this property

Our family was blessed with having our dear, late neighbor Virgil Wilson next door to us over the years. He and his wife Norma were the perfect neighbors, and we formed a great relationship with them. After Norma passed away, we would invite Virgil over for family dinners, have conversations around the campfire, and keep him company. Before Virgil passed away in 2009, he sold us his cottage, and ever since we have been able to allow others to come to Indian Lake to make memories of their own to cherish. We look forward to having you at the cottage soon!

You will fall in love with the breathtaking sunset views in the evenings, whether it be from the property shoreline or our spacious lake room with floor-to-ceiling windows! The cottage is the perfect spot for many celebrations, including birthdays, anniversaries, and family reunions!
