About this property

Beachfront hidden gem in paradise!

Close to the excitement and action of Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and the majesty of world-famous Mayan archaeological sites, Casita Las Estrellas is located in Puerto Morelos, a tranquil, Mayan fishing village that supports an international community. Please check out our other casita (listing #51958) located on the same property or if you are two couples or a family who might be interested in renting both.

Las Estrellas
Casita de Las Estrellas is a three-story, owner-designed house with breathtaking views of the beautiful Caribbean from each floor. The first floor has a living area, full kitchen, dining area, bath, and outdoor sitting area. The upstairs has a queen-size hanging bed from which you can see and hear the ocean, a second bathroom, and a private terrace for reading and relaxing. The 3rd floor is a meditation/reading room/study with a 360 degree view of sunrises and sunsets. There is a futon sofa that opens to a bed in the living area and another on the third floor. It has fans on all levels and air conditioning on the first and second floors. One parking space available in front of the property. Sleeps 2-3.

Other things to note:
The beachfront house to our left if you were looking at the beach has been sold. The beach house has already been demolished and construction of new condominiums has begun and will be completed by March of 2024 or sooner. Construction is only permitted Monday-Saturday from 8am-6pm. However, on Saturday's construction tends to end early around 1 or 2pm. No construction is permitted on Sunday. We currently have a short concrete wall/fence which divides our property from the property under construction. We have added a taller tarp-like fence above our existing wall which provides guests with privacy while the neighboring construction project is going on. Noise can be expected during the day. However, we have noticed days when no heavy machines are being used and have also noticed days where construction is not constant throughout the day. We are sharing this information to be very transparent with all our guests or potential guests. Besides some increased noise our property listing is beautiful and we are confident you will enjoy your stay with us in paradise. Please read our recent reviews from past guests to learn more. This was our first trip to Mexico. Puerto Morelos was the perfect location in the middle of everything. Casita de Las Estrellas was amazing beautiful. The views were breathtaking and the home was very clean. We were very comfortable here with two adults and a teenager. We have taken many trips but the management here was the best we’ve ever had. They were very helpful with any questions that we had and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Our plane landed much earlier than checkin times but management accommodated quickly to make our arrival easy. We rented a car to be able to go to Cancun and Tulum for sightseeing. But the town of Puerto Morelos is not far away with plenty of shopping, town grocery store and tourist activities. We spent most of our evenings in town shopping and having dinner. We took many walks on the beach that also have restaurants in walking distance. We don’t mind the hustle of people, but if you want a quiet vacation spot only a short walk away from it all, this would be my recommendation! Thank you Lloyd for and amazing experience!

This place was incredible. Million dollar views from every window. Resident iguanas that the kids names Ziggy and Iggy. Yesica was so helpful and kind. The water was gentle and warm and just steps away from the back door.

Paradise Found
Perfect spot for peace and relaxation. Beautiful and comfortable casita right on the sand with the warm ocean at your feet just steps away. Great responsiveness of Lloyd and Yesica. Appreciate that very much. We will be back! Wouldn’t change a thing. And I’m picky!!
