Enjoy all the activities that Central Florida has to offer, the home is less than an hour form Disney or either coast. Take in all there is to do in the surrounding Lakeside communities of Lake County Florida. Or, simply relax and do nothing at all.

My home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, with plenty of room to find your own space. There is an open deck area and a screened in deck off of the rear. The home sits on a 1/2 acre double lot at the end of a quiet street and with a short walk to the lake.

Fishing get away
My fishing partner and I, along with our wives stayed for one week. The house was perfect for our needs. The cabinets were well stocked with cooking supplies. Both couples had our own bathroom, stocked with plenty of clean towels and washcloths. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I hated to leave the area, felt like a place I could stay long term. The host was great about answering any questions I had and making us comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Home away from Home
Beautiful home with plenty of amenities. Screened in porch was perfect for enjoying sitting outside in the evening. Host was quick to respond to any questions and super nice. The location is perfect for many activities in Central Florida. There is a beautiful side yard with a fire pit that would have been perfect to sit around and roast marshmallows. Will definitely visit again in the future.

The house was way more than expected!! Very well kept and stocked. The property was very spacious and clean inside and out. It was located in the perfect location for our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. Will stay here again when we return to the area.

I work in the road construction field in Ohio through the spring summer and fall, and enjoy my winters off in Yalaha. I have lived in rural Ohio all my life and enjoy being outdoors with my dogs, ride my Harley whenever possible and enjoy classic cars. I am at peace with the title of Snowbird.

Why they chose this property

I rode around the Harris Chain of Lakes in 2010 and fell in love with the area. I knew some friends with houses in the area and have found it easy to make new friends in the area.

What makes this property unique

I love that my home is in a somewhat rural area where heavy traffic can be avoided on the motorcycle, but also close to all the amenities that suit a more urban lifestyle. Water is everywhere you turn and walking to the lake provides sunrises and sunsets for that "life is good" feeling. Central Florida offers the convenience of both coasts, air boat rides, eagle and manatee watching and much more. I highly recommend the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala to any car enthusiast. The communities around the lakes host festivals and activities year round, without leaving Lake County.
