This is the West in all it's Perfect Ways
I'm a country boy who married a big city girl 27 years ago. The big city glamour is great for celebrating an anniversary but Whiskey Belle Ranch is perfect, romantic old west seclusion. Alanna and Bob are five star hosts of a five star B&B. This is a "put down the phone, turn off the TV and unplug" kind of place. Whiskey Belle Ranch is "pertnear" (pretty near) my hometown in Wyoming and like many of us from this part of the country, Bob and Alanna are kind souls, genuinely hospitable, with a tough core that's required for living in this part of the country. If you've ever lived on a farm or ranch with chickens in the pen; big dogs on a shady porch; cattle in the pasture; trout in the creek; song birds in the trees; cats in the barn; horses in the stable; and, sunsets on the hills, then you don't need me to tell you the charm of Whiskey Belle Ranch. If you've never experienced those things or the nice people that make it all work in perfect harmony, you owe yourself a visit. Thanks Alanna, Bob, Mist and Double Shot. We'll be back.

Bob and I have a Working Highland Cattle Ranch at Whiskey Belle Ranch. I stay busy with my flock of chickens and organic garden which keeps my B&B guests happy and healthy at breakfasts. Bob is a retired Architect and I continue to work a couple days a week as a Biofeedback Specialist. When we have time for a bit of fun, you'll see us on our horses TR & Sundance.

Why they chose this property

Bob, the retired architect was also a cowboy for most of his working career. He only got to enjoy the Ranch life on weekends. When we were looking for a place to settle down and retire, we found this little ranch which offered us a chance to pursue our dreams of living in the country with our horses and dogs. It also gave us both a huge challenge of remodeling almost every portion of the house and the outbuildings to meet our refined tastes and maintain the historic integrity of this old four square house.

What makes this property unique

Our Ranch house was fully renovated from a dilapidated condition to its now professionally designed rustic elegance. It includes three bedrooms with private baths, a sitting area known as the Teddy Roosevelt Room, and a dining room. The kitchen and laundry are private areas for the owners. A new large covered front porch provides shelter from the summer sun and spectacular views of snow capped Comanche Peak. The best part of the day is enjoying cocktails while surrounded by the vibrant colorful sunsets.
