Very basic unit on beautiful grounds with great ocean view

Had a very smooth stay at this unit. Check-in was easy following the directions emailed by the owner. The view from the unit is fabulous. The unit is stocked with basics (beach towels, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, knives, small fridge and microwave). The only addition I would recommend would be a cutting board and paper towels. The unit shows signs of age/wear and tear, etc. but is decent. We really enjoyed the view from the lanai. There is parking behind the on-site restaurant which puts you very close to this unit. Islander on the Beach has very nice grounds, well manicured and clean. I would definitely go back and stay here again.

Wonderful unit with awesome view of the ocean!

My mom and I stayed at #260 for 5 nights (5/30-6/4) and loved every moment of it. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. The location was perfect with plenty of parking. The kitchenette was packed with more than we needed to make warm breakfast and reheat our leftovers. The mini fridge allowed us to store exotic fruits we bought at the farmers market.

Jeff and Karen did a great job keeping the property clean and furnished with useful things and supplies. Among other things in the kitchenette, there was a chopping board, paper towel and a brand new countertop toaster oven. They certainly went out of their way to provide their guests a comfortable stay.

We felt so blessed to have found the place. It was our first time in beautiful Kauai and this comfortable unit made our vacation even more memorable.

Home away from home ! Beautiful view of ocean and short walk to beach! Convenient amenities nearby!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Waking up every morning to a beautiful view of the ocean, then enjoying breakfast on the Lanai with the relaxing sights and sounds of Kauai made for a fabulous stay! We were in Kauai for family events, including Kauai High School Graduation, and the location of our condo made our outings easier to attend, since we were close to many of the family activities. However, the location is also close to many amenities, so we were also able to enjoy some relaxing down time as well. The condo itself was veey comfortable and had enough room to accommodate my husband, my daughter and myself. We spent most of our time outside the condo, but it was such a pleasant "home" to return to after a busy day out and about on the island. We also enjoyed the close, short walk to the beach and enjoy time relaxing on the sand or taking a quick dip into the ocean. The location of the condo is also quiet and the neighbors are kind. We hope when we return to visit Kauai. We are fortunate to stay again in this "home away from home."

Loved it

We were in the room for 5 min and my wife said we are coming back.The grounds of the resort are incredible.The room was so clean and comfortable and the view from the deck was breathtaking.The pool was awesome and the little bar was a nice touch.The shops and coffee shop were less than a three min walk.You felt so safe the security guard were walking the grounds all night and day. Need one more week there five days wasn't long enough.

Gorgeous ocean view - wonderful central location and lovely resort.

We did enjoy our stay at #260 and appreciated the kitchenette for making some of our meals on site. We purchased groceries & deli food at Safeway to make a few of our favorite dishes while on vacation. The room, however, needs some updating and improvements.

Great View of the ocean from lanai, wonderful location and beautiful setting!

The Islander exceeded our expectations! We loved the beach, pool and tiki bar! The grounds were well kept, room was spacious and homey. We loved it here so much and are definitely plnning our next trip back! Mahalo!
