Welcome to the rugged beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains that surround La Quinta Cove! Recently remodeled mid-Cove home featuring open floor plan with three (3) bedrooms and two (2) baths. Take in the beautiful mountain views next to your own private pool as you enjoy your morning coffee or favorite beverage in the evening! You are just a short distance from historic La Quinta Village, dining, shopping, art shows, farmer’s market, spas, tennis and golf.

As soon as you walk in the front door, you will feel comfortable in the open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas. The home has been recently remodeled with new tile floors, paint and all the amenities you would expect in a personal residence. The living room has a sectional sofa and ottoman, large ceiling fan and recessed LED lighting to create just the right atmosphere for relaxation. You will enjoy the 55” HDTV with sound bar and cable TV. The adjacent dining area has table and chairs to seat six (6) and is just steps from the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

The master bedroom is equipped with a California King sized bed and entertainment unit with 40” HDTV, walk-in closet, ceiling fan and en suite bathroom with combination tub/shower. Bedroom #2 is equipped with a Queen sized bed, as well as entertainment unit with 40” HDTV, ceiling fan and ample closet space. Bedroom #3 Is furnished with a queen size Murphy bed and has direct access to the pool area. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the second bathroom which also has a combination tub and shower.

When it comes to the outdoors, you will find a very private front-loaded swimming pool, again, with views of the rugged Santa Rosa mountains! The pool has a pebble-tech surface, so is very comfortable on your feet. It includes a ‘baja shelf’ where you can cool off without having to get completely in the pool! It’s great for playing with the little ones!! You can set up the baja shelf with your beach chairs and umbrella to be cool and shaded!! Maximum depth of the pool is five (5) feet so everyone can enjoy!!! Oversize zero-gravity lounge chairs, chaise lounges and side tables included for your relaxation! In the back yard, you will find a table and chairs to seat four (4) with large cantilever umbrella, barbecue grill and large hammock for more relaxing in the morning, afternoon or evening!!

Other amenities include washer/dryer in the two-car garage, new central heating/cooling, high-speed wireless internet, full linens and pool towels.

Beautiful spot for January stay.
Wife and I came down for a late Christmas with the in-laws and our 16yr old and had a great time. Property is well stocked with dishes and appliances for any kind of cooking you desire. Spent lots of time in the pool. Mornings were best for this as once the sun went around the west side of house it was cooler air temp in the 20deg C days. Had really bad winds in the Coachella valley that didn’t barely have a whisper in the yard due to the protection of the mountains. Would probably be great in the 40deg C summers! Home is very well kept and clean. Friendly neighborhood. Never had much for dealing with Mark the host as the handbook for the property answered all questions that we had. Great location minutes away from old town Laquita which has tons of delicious secret kept dining locations. 10/10 would definitely recommend and/or rent this place next time we come to Palm Springs area.

Great property, great location! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
We were super impressed with the cleanliness and location of the property! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the garage had pool floaties and sun loungers for us to bring out to use. Living area was spacious and had a huge sectional couch to relax on and bedrooms also had plenty of space :) The property location is about 5 blocks from the desert trails. We walked around the neighborhood each morning - neighbors were very friendly! It's only about an $8 Uber ride to shops and restaurants (highly recommend Casa Mendoza and Stuft Pizza bar), if you're looking to go out at night. Communication with the owner was great and he was quick to respond. Overall, I'd recommend to friends and be happy to stay here again.

Better than even expected!
We traveled to the area and had to make last minute changes due to extreme weather in the mountains. We found this property and from our first email with the owners- it was perfect. First the house- it’s spacious. We are a family of four but we had family staying in the area so they would come over for dinner. We had plenty of space. The pool is in the front and the patio is in the back. The pool had the best sun earlier in the day so we used it then because it was still March. The pool is heated which was wonderful but you eventually had to get The patio out back was great. Table, chairs and a hammock. In the evening after the sun set- the most amazing floral scent permeated the air. The barbecue grill was great so we could just be outside. There was an very easy to operate umbrella that allowed us to enjoy outside all of the time. The living room was super comfy too. The sectional allowed all of us and our visitors to sit inside (we had one chillier and super windy day). The kitchen is well outfitted. There were some staples in the cupboard so check your inventory before shopping. Plenty of dishes. Plenty of pans. The property is well situated. You can walk to old town la Quinta which we did each Sunday for the farmers market. It’s about a mile and a half. The trails are also walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. So appreciate the opportunity and it’s always a pleasure when your expectations are met and so much more.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for multiple reasons. From the first drive into La Quinta Cove we fell in love with the beautiful Santa Rosa mountains. They looked surreal as we approached them. We both were sold on the location. We gave this home a little love and a few updates to make it a comfortable retreat. We believe it has what you will need for a nice desert get away. We hope you will enjoy it, just as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

As you walk into our property you are greeted with a beautiful pebble-tech pool. We pictured ourselves, drinking a cocktail and enjoying the mountain views from this vantage point. We enjoy the open floor plan that the kitchen and living space offers. We also love the amount of space in the patio area. We could only hope that these tiny benefits are the reasons you decide to reserve Casa Carranza.
