This was a beautiful place to stay and was exactly what we wanted. Tara was very accommodating. We were able to check in a little early and check out a little later which we greatly appreciated. The hot tub was an amazing way to relax after walking around the city. Everything was comfortable and I enjoyed the decor. Tara’s suggestions were very helpful for us since we were new to the city and overwhelmed by all the choices. The location was very convenient. The streetcar stop was literally around the corner so it was easy to see all the beautiful homes on St Charles and easy to get down to the French Quarter. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood as well and it felt very safe. Everything was so easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

The Perfect Fit

I LOVE visiting New Orleans, and this Uptown crashpad was really the cherry on top. Walking distance to many NOLA favorites (Camellia Grill & Cooter Browns), plus a streetcar stop right outside helped cut down on Uber/Lyft fees. The neighborhood is so beautiful and scenic, we took long walks every day just to sightsee. The patio and hot tub are a dream, and really helped to relax our bodies after long days drinking and running around town. Tara was very helpful and responsive; it's really amazing that someone would open up such a beautiful home for strangers to have an unforgettable experience in such a wonderful city. We couldn't have asked for anything better for my boyfriend's birthday. I would be delighted to stay here again next time I'm in town.

Charming & Relaxing!

Loved staying here! Gorgeous neighborhood. Tara’s place is just far away enough from the noise to relax and enjoy a beautiful side of New Orleans, yet it’s a quick drive or street car ride to access the it’s well known attractions. Loved Carrollton Market for Brunch and picking up a “to-go” daiquiri for the street car ride down to Canal street. Lots of little places within walking distance.

Fabulous!! Great Location and beautiful accommodations!

My mom, daughter and I, LOVED our stay at the beautiful St. Charles Ave apartment. The decor is warm and inviting. The patio area and pool were perfect after a long day of walking and touring the city. Tara is so kind, absolutely lovely and offered many wonderful "must do" options for our stay for the week. The accommodation location was perfect for those who enjoy staying where locals live/eat/work/play and prefer the quiet away from noise and hustle of the French Quarter. The trolley, literally right out front, made it super easy to get where we needed to go to catch our tours. Lots of great cafe's and treat shops close by too. Wish we had more time in NOLA as we felt like 6 nights just wasn't enough to see everything. Great excuse to go back! This Canadian Travel agent highly recommends this accommodation for hospitality, decor, location and value! :D

Great location for exploring city!

Enjoyed our week in NOLA. We parked our car upon arrival and did not use it again until our departure. Streetcar took us to the French Quarter and our bikes helped us explore other areas of the city including the Garden District and City Park/Botanical Gardens. Lots of restaurants in uptown St. Charles to choose from and most are with in 3 or 4 blocks, so an easy walk. Tara does a great job communicating with her renters and is very hospitable. Rental unit is clean and bright with a lovely back yard and a great shower.

We Couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations the location and the host. The location is great right by the trolley stop very easy to get downtown no hassles with traffic and plenty good place to eat nearby as well as good shopping . Backyard with the pool and Jacuzzi was perfect as well . The room was quiet and comfortable and very private. We will be staying there again on our next trip back to New Orleans
