What makes this Condo unique
I love climbing the staircase and being on the top floor, it's a feeling of liberation!

It was located so you felt like part of the community and not a tourist. The place was not lacking in anything - from furnishings to spices for anyone's tastes or culture - even assorted rain/snow gear for the unexpected needs of a traveler. Put Ikea to shame on how every inch of space was used yet open and roomy. Loved listening to the vinyl records! What a treat. Enjoyed the guest message board. Interesting to see all the different visitors from across the globe.
Lovely apartment & neighborhood
Vesta's apartment is comfortable and very pretty with a lot of personal and unique details that make it very homey. The neighborhood is nice and diverse within walking distance to Marche Jean Talon, restaurants and the metro. Our initial fear that our dog would freak out on the spiral steps was unfounded, he had no problems at all and he's 12. Our one negative, Montreal was going through a brutal heatwave and there is no AC. The window fan in the bedroom and the others were fine at night for the most part but when we arrived from our day out in the afternoon it was a bit uncomfortable. We would definitely come back though.
Charming and cozy apartment
The apartment was absolutely lovely, very charming and full of character. It was clean and located in a nice neighborhood, only a ten minute walk to Marche Jean Talon and a short walk to the metro. We wished we were in the city for more than two days as we enjoyed down time in the apartment. Parking was easier than expected as street parking is available and we found a spot about a half a block away where we kept our car for the whole weekend. The neighborhood was quiet at night and there were a number of choices of places to eat within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
Second stay lives up to the positive memories
This was our second stay at Vesta’s apartment and we loved it even more. Dinner and breakfast on the balcony was amazing. Everything was quiet and comfortable and Vesta was very responsive when we had any questions. Still love the neighborhood, especially the market, espresso and cafes. It’s easy to walk and drive the city (plus several metro stations are nearby) from here. We hope to return again!
Classic and quirky
This is a beautiful apartment. It's well decorated and has a cozy feel. The kitchen is well stocked, and has a dishwasher, so cooking and cleanups are easy. It's in walking distance to the Jean Talon market, which makes getting groceries a nice outing. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. When staying at this property, be aware that it does require a climb up a spiral staircase to get to the unit. It's also not air-conditioned, but it does get good air circulation with the windows open and the fan on. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with this place, and heartily recommend it for your Montréal home base.
Great location in charming space
This location was perfect for exploring the Jean Talon market, Little Italy and all the wonderful gluten-free food nearby (don't miss Boulangerie Le Marquis sans Gluten). Vesta's space is bright, clean, cozy and chic. Two characteristics could be an issue for some guests, who should be advised: the third floor location requires a walk up a steep spiral, external staircase, typical of apartments in the area, which could be hard in inclement weather or for those with vertigo or mobility issues (or those carrying small kids and strollers). Also, the apartment is cooled only by breezes through open windows and two small fans. This is normally fine in Montreal's climate, but on one of our days it was in the mid or even upper-80s and even at night the apartment stayed very hot. The other nights were comfortable. Leaving the windows and doors open could be a challenge for those with small children, pets, allergies or dislike of smoke drifting in from the neighbors. With those cautions in mind, we can definitely recommend this place for solo travelers, couples, or families traveling with an older child. We especially enjoyed dining on the rear balcony and showering in the greenhouse-like bath.
