Santa Maria Navarrese, is a coastal fraction of the municipality of Baunei, in the province of Nuoro which has about 1450 inhabitants. It is located on the central-eastern coast of Sardinia, about 150 km north of Cagliari, and 160 km south of Olbia. The town and the beach are adjacent to the town of Tancau sul Mare Santa Maria is known above all as a seaside resort for the beach and the tourist port. Santa Maria Navarrese has a marina, from which especially in the summer, small and large tourist boats allow you to visit about 40 km of coastline, among the most beautiful and unspoiled in the Mediterranean. Among the most popular places: Cala Follò, Cala Goloritzè, Cala Luna, Ispùligi de Nie (also called Cala Mariolu) and Cala Sisine.
