My husband and I lived in Vermont for many years, but we now spend our time in the west, splitting between Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. We love the Wood River Valley and Ketchum. The area is vibrant and active, with ample opportunities to pursue our outdoor passions that include fly fishing, bird watching, bird hunting, skiing, and hiking.

We love the blend of nature and recreation that the Wood River Valley provides. Because of its unique location, this area also embraces a diversity of cultural activities that keep the place vibrant -- from the annual writers' conference to the summer symphony and a variety of outdoor concerts, to the annual Sun Valley wine auction and related events. No matter the season, you can find plenty to do, day and night. The skiing is world class, as is the fishing on Silver Creek. There are seemingly endless hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails. Throughout the valley, you will find great food, in restaurants, at the grocers, and at the farmers' markets in both Ketchum and Hailey. It's a blast!

Our home is truly warm and comfortable, and in a central location. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. You can walk to restaurants, the ski area, the river, and the bike/ski path. We love that we have a small yard and patio, and that the house is an easy place where we can entertain. We enjoy sharing meals with our friends, and this spot makes it a breeze to pull it all together.
