The apartment
★Casa Christabel is an air conditioned/heated one-bedroom apartment which sleeps up to four.
★The two single beds can also be made up as a king size (request at the time of booking).
★The comfortable sofa bed in the living room also easily sleeps two extra adults.
★We welcome babies and children, however they must be included in the maximum number of guests. Infants under two are free and a cot with baby linen and high chair are also available, free of charge. Please request these at the time of booking.
★The apartment is set in the beautifully landscaped and tranquil Mi Jardin

★The apartment is set in very quiet surroundings, which will enable you to work from home if necessary. There is adequate space for you to set up a work station for your laptop and an extension lead with a usb charging port should you choose to work on the terrace. There is a good mobile phone signal and fast WiFi.
★There are 27 golf clubs within an hours drive from Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel, 11 of which are less than 30 minutes away and 3 within a 10 minute drive.
★Sustainability-We have a solar powered hot water tank which holds 300 litres of hot water, (with a back up boiler for those few cloudy days) so that our guests will never run out of hot water.
You will find reusable dish cloths & scourers for your pots and pans and instead of providing plastic bottles of mineral water you will find a lovely glass bottle of tap water waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive.
You will find lunch boxes & refillable bottles for you to take your drinks to the beach, so there is no need to buy products in single use plastic wrapping or bottles. We have also installed pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to the avoid the use of single use plastics.
Our housekeepers use eco-friendly cleaning products and the new washing machine uses only the minimum amount of water necessary. The aircon is monitored so that it cannot be accidentally left on when you open the door or go out for the day.
You will find shopping bags and a wheel along crate to take to the shops, so there is no need to buy plastic bags when you go shopping. We encourage our guests to sort and recycle rubbish. You will find beach toys, inflatables and a body board for the children so there is no need to buy a new bucket and spade each time you come and stay which avoids having plastic items abandoned on the beach.
The surroundings.
★Mi Jardin has the atmosphere of a Spanish pueblo and was carefully constructed in a traditional Andalusian style and is set in beautifully maintained landscaped gardens.
★Mi Jardin is perfect if you want to relax and get away from it all and yet all that the Costa del Sol has to offer is easily accessible.
★The beautiful blue flag Carvajal beach with its highly recommended Spanish churinguito Kalifato and usual water sports, is a 15 minute (1.1km) walk away. ★N.B. it is a 20 minute-walk back as it is uphill. Why not treat yourself to a swim in the lovely pool on your way home?
★The pool does not have a lifeguard however it is fully enclosed for safety. ★The pool is open from 1st March to 31st October and from 1000-2100 (1000-2200 in July and August).
★You will find sunbeds which you are welcome to carry to the pool beach/pool towel.
★The shops, pavement cafes, bars and the recommended Indian restaurant Nirvana are a 20 -minute walk (uphill) or 5 minutes and around 5€ in and Uber taxi. Aldi is only a further 5 minutes -walk away!
★Carvajal train station is 20 minutes-walk or 5 minutes and around 5€ in an Uber taxi, making Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Malaga City and the Airport within easy reach.
★The trains run to the airport every 20 minutes and the station is inside the airport terminal
★The journey to the airport takes just under 30 minutes and costs just over 2€.
★ When booking flights please note that the train stops running between 2330 and 0530, however a taxi will cost around 35€.
★Airport transfers can be arranged on your behalf from 30€
★There are bus stops at the top of the urbanizacion Torremar and also down by the beach.
★A car is therefore not necessary however it would be an advantage if you like to explore.
★ Free communal parking is available.
★ Casa Christabel adjoins Casa Annabel which can be booked together to allow for larger groups of family or friends. Please ask the owner for any additional information required.
★Our housekeeping team are pleased to be able to offer guests staying for 7+ nights, a mid stay clean (which includes a bed linen and towel change) at a cost of 60€. Please request this when making your reservation.
★Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and are charged at half the nightly rental rate. This will be confirmed 48 hours prior to check-in.
★Check-in is contactless and you can therefore arrive at your own convenience, without having to arrange to meet anyone. Submission of your documentation is fully automated so that there is no need to waste a precious moment of your holiday.
A digital guidebook is available to ensure that you have all the necessary information about the apartment and includes details of recommended places to eat and visitor attractions.
The owner is contactable 24 hours a day, should the need arise.
★Please note there are steps down to Casa Christabel therefore it may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
★There is a Wi-Fi Ring camera/ doorbell on the front door which is motion-sensitive, and operates 24/7. I have access to the camera via the Ring app at any time. There are NO cameras inside the property.
★Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel are fully licensed with the Spanish Authorities.
★Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place prior to booking as I am unable to permit last minute cancellations.
★Adequate time is allowed between stays to allow Casa Christabel to be properly cleaned and sanitised ready for you to enjoy your holiday.
★We would prefer it if smokers did not make a reservation to stay in Casa Christabel and we thank you for your understanding!
★You will be sent a copy of my booking policy and a contract for signature.

We have been informed today (Monday 1st April 2024) that the Junta de Andalucia (Government of Andalusia ) have forbidden the opening of private and community pools, due to the ongoing drought restrictions.
This situation is totally out of our control and may well change at short notice.
Please remember that the owners cannot accept any liability for compensation, or cancellation requests due to the pool closure, should you choose to make a reservation to stay at Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel after 1st April 2024.
