About this property

Large character cottage, nature, near swimming in the river

NATURE, QUIET, RIVER, AUTHENTICITY
Comfortable, very bright, with generous volumes largely open to the outside, La Martinière has the incomparable charm of old stone houses and offers a panoramic view of the valley where winds the river Beaume. In the summer you will discover the happiness of swimming in the river (the first swimming spots are 10 minutes walk), the friendliness of the ping-pong parties, barbecues and meals taken on the large outdoor terrace. When autumn comes, it's the pleasure of a fire in the fireplace in the living room after a stroll. You can walk away from the house and catch up with the many trails, tracks and woods around. And just ask yourself, enjoy the time passing, the view and the quiet places. Ideal for recharging your batteries, renewing your energy and rare moments.

With a total capacity of 10 beds; 3 large bedrooms with balconies and 2 sleeping areas, it is possible to rent La Martinière for 4 people from September to early July by modulating the area available. The area is then 135 m². Contact us for rates by email or at 06. 03. 68. 38. 39.

Fully rented The Martinière ideally accommodates 6 adults in the three large bedrooms and 4 children or young adults distributed in the two corners night. The surface is 190 m².

LOCATION: 15 minutes drive from Joyeuse where all services and shops are present, yet you will be immersed in a quiet, authentic, where nature is strong and preserved, without being isolated.

Martine and Pascal, the owners of the place reserve a private terraced and independent part behind the house and will share with pleasure their enthusiasm for this corner of Ardèche if you ask them. The entrance courtyard is common.
La Martinière is located in a quiet hamlet of three houses, on a large unenclosed terraced ground of more than one hectare. Access to the hamlet is from the departmental (1.2 km) by a paved road and a dirt road of about 500 m. The road ends at the hamlet, only there circulate the cars of the people who stay there.

ENVIRONMENT: the house is located in the southern part of the Ardèche with Mediterranean climate, in the Regional Natural Park of the Monts d'Ardèche in the beautiful Beaume Valley. The medieval village of Joyeuse, its large market and its shops distant of 12 km, offers all the necessary services. A restaurant within walking distance or by car. An equestrian center at 10 minutes.

WHAT TO SEE: the Gorges de l'Ardèche and Chassezac, the caves of La Cocalière and the Aven d'Orgnac, and the famous Chauvet cave, a unique decorated cave in the world and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DO: hiking, canyoning, via-ferrata, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, paragliding. And of course countless villages and landscapes to discover, walks to do, events and festivities to participate ...
