About Donna Fried, Teacher and Homeowner

Donna Fried lives and works in NYC. She has been working for the Department of Education since 2006 as a dedicated and licensed ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher to adult immigrants who come to America for opportunities to afford better lives for themselves and their families. She is known to them affectionately as "Teacher"!!

Armin Silbersmith, originally from Romania came to the USA and settled in the Bronx (NYC) 50 years ago not speaking a word of English. After obtaining a college degree in Hotel/Motel Management, he worked his way up the ranks to being a Specialist on Wall Street and at 58, continues to work on the NYSE.

As a couple, Donna and Armin are ambitious homeowners, avid travelers who had been to Aruba many times before deciding to buy their first carribbean property.

They hope to build long and successful relationships with their tenants and are very excited about being part of this beautiful happy island.

Walls removed, doors added, rooms enlarged, ceilings opened, lighting added, backyard paved and closets and drawers built in to consider the needs of tenants who want only the "best". No expense was spared in the 7 month renovation project. Every amenity has been considered even if it meant weeks delaying the rental.

Wonderful Stay in Aruba Breeze

The condo was more than we thought it would be. The pictures do not lie. Great location! The island is really easy to get around. Do rent a car. Take one day to see the island, we did it with ATV’s and saw sights we will never forget. At the end of each day it was very nice to know we were coming back to a wonderful condo. So clean! It was like being at home.

We couldn't have asked for anything more!

We just returned from spending a week with one other couple. This is a beautiful, fully-equipped condo in a smaller complex just a block from the beach. Property is very well maintained. Great location within walking distance of much dining and shopping, but also very easy driving. Donna has given careful consideration to see that you want for nothing. With the kitchen so well stocked, we made full breakfast and lunch every day and only went out to eat for dinner. You can forget about packing a large suitcase. Washer and dryer are right in the condo. Everything you need for the beach is provided - coolers, chairs, towels, and more. Donna's rental process was very easy, and she was a delight to work with. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful condo with every amenity

We went with another couple in January 2018. The condo has everything you need. Nice layout. We had the pool outside our door practically to ourselves most days. Very quiet condo area. Close to drive to everything. Great meals at every place we ate at in town. Beautiful safe island with welcoming islanders. We did the Pelican champagne breakfast /lunch snorkel trip and the 1/2 day land rover trip with ABC tours to the north end. would highly recommend both of them. The condo owner, Donna, is very attentive to your needs to ensure you have a great trip.

Paradise in Aruba

Walking in the door to Donna's unit we knew we were in for a special vacation. My daughter-in-law and I agreed it was the best vacation rental we ever had seen. The modern appearance, with a touch of European flair, is very appealing. And at the same time the unit is warm, homely, and welcoming. I will recommend to our family and friends to stay at Donna's place when they visit Aruba. It is apparent Donna has spent a lot of time and energy to create this superb environment. It is 5 minutes to a super-duper, super market, walking distance to Eagle Beach for beautiful sunsets, and minutes to the island's hospital, for those with medical concerns. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring all the different personalities of the island. We visited Aruba 25 yrs. ago and, yes, it has changed and become busier. But even today it is a wonderful place to vacation.....and Donna's residence opportunity is the frosting on the cake for a very positive, memorable experience in Aruba.

Fantastic Eagle Beach Condominium

My family of six rented the unit over 1/25/17 - 1/3/18 and were impressed from the time we booked the unit to the time we left! Donna answered all our questions quickly and provided great insight to the island. Arriving on Christmas day was a concern as many restaurants and stores were closed. Donna handled this by adding a pre-shopping option of 5 Items that are purchased and stocked before your arrival. AWESOME! We only needed to reimburse the on-site agent, Petra when we arrived.

Petra was fantastic! Not only did she pick-up our five grocery items before arrival she made dinner reservations for us at one of the local favorites that evening. She gave up part of both of her Christmas Holidays to meet us at the unit on arrival and the next day to follow-up. She can help arrange day activities and dinner reservations.

Even with 6 individuals the condo was spacious and family friendly. Steps from the pool and a block walk to the beach. It doesn't get better! The unit was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything you need; bath towels, soaps, washer/dryer, beach chairs, beach towels, beach blankets and coolers.

We loved the location between downtown and the high rise district. We could get to all the restaurants and shops quickly but easily return to our secluded condo. Public transit is available however we would recommend renting a vehicle. It easier to transport everything to the beach and explore the island!

While there we did have an A/C unit on the condo that failed. We contacted Donna in the morning and she was able to get it replaced the same day! AMAZING!

This unit is awesome and comes with owners who genuinely want you to have the best experience as possible!

Amazing property

This condo is everything that the owner said it would be. Very clean and had everything that you would need for your stay. This condo is close to great beaches and snorkeling spots. Bathrooms have bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and toilet paper. Upon arrival the owner had waiting for us a a nice refreshing cold beverage for us. Kitchen was fully stock with cooking appliances and tableware, everything u needed to cook, serve and eat also there are 2 trash cans with trash bags. Dishwasher has dishwashing liquid. Washing machine and dryer were great to have. They provide laundry soap which was great to have clean cloths. Bedrooms have tons of space to put your clothes, shoes etc. beds were very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs with 1/2 bath downstairs. On the back patio there is a gas grill with all tools and there is a closet with beach towels, cooler, beach bags, etc.

The owner of this property is wonderful and will answer any questions you may have in a timely manner. Donna was so great to work with before, during and after our vacation.

If your going to go grocery shopping bring the beach bags for your items because the grocery store does not have plastic bags.

I would definitely recommend this property, trust me you will be very happy. Beach is right across the street.

We are in the quaint "low rise" area of Aruba, 5 minutes direction to downtown Oranjestaad where the govt' buildings and all manner of shopping, dining, gambling and marinas are situated.

Being in the middle of Aruba offers many benefits. You're not more than 5 minutes drive from anywhere. And who needs the crowds and congestion of Palm Beach, not to mention the exorbitant big hotel prices?

You MUST try "Zenorahs" small but elegant Greek and Italian Restaurant steps from the condo. People who dine there say they travel from Palm Beach to eat there and make it part of their vacation plans when they return to Aruba.

A few steps closer to the Boulevard is the wildly successful ultra hi-end "Screaming Eagle" for their famous unmatched culinary presentations that fascinate the senses. And 5 star service. Their deserts are out of this world. Try eating in bed!!

With each rental, we temporarily hold a 100% Refundable Accountability Deposit ("RAD") of $500 to ensure tenants act responsibly and the unit is ready for the next group. This is NOT rent so it is not in your quote. This is refunded to you in full within 7 days of check out. We do not take for normal "wear and tear" and accidents and malfunctioning that happens in the course of living. Our return rate is 100% despite damages found!

Your quoted rate + 10% taxes includes full pre and post cleaning, linen laundering, water, cable and electric charges and a home FULL of every comfort possible (please read our reviews) which includes bathroom toiletries, paper products, beach and bath supplies and much, much more.

We must charge $100 additional to help offset cost of cleaning and agent's services for stays under 6 nights.

Lease violations are what are normally deducted from the deposit, eg, pets, smoking indoors, noise complaints, uninformed damages, more than 6 tenants without homeowners' approval, etc. This is to ensure the unit is safe for current tenants and ready for the next valued tenants.
