We are in the quaint "low rise" area of Aruba, 5 minutes direction to downtown Oranjestaad where the govt' buildings and all manner of shopping, dining, gambling and marinas are situated.

Being in the middle of Aruba offers many benefits. You're not more than 5 minutes drive from anywhere. And who needs the crowds and congestion of Palm Beach, not to mention the exorbitant big hotel prices?

You MUST try "Zenorahs" small but elegant Greek and Italian Restaurant steps from the condo. People who dine there say they travel from Palm Beach to eat there and make it part of their vacation plans when they return to Aruba.

A few steps closer to the Boulevard is the wildly successful ultra hi-end "Screaming Eagle" for their famous unmatched culinary presentations that fascinate the senses. And 5 star service. Their deserts are out of this world. Try eating in bed!!

Additional information about rental rates

Tax Rate 12.0%

Your quoted rate and 12% taxes includes government room surcharges and other miscellaneous fees, cleaning, linen laundering, water, cable and electric charges and a home FULL of every comfort possible. We must charge $100 for cleaning services for stays under 5 nights.

There is a 100% refundable Accountability Deposit (aka "damage deposit") of $750. It is NOT rent and is billed separately. We place these funds in a separate account and return it in full to our tenants within 7 days barring no provable damage not considered "normal wear and tear" or lease violations (eg smoking or pets). Sorry, but this is non negotiable because it ensures the tenant will have our condo "rental ready" for the next tenant (which includes you by the previous tenant). We do not charge for reasonable "wear and tear", eg, things that fall off walls, handles that come off, loosened door hinges, broken glass, fabric stains, cracked tile, ripped towels and linens, etc.

Lease violations are what are normally deducted from the deposit, eg, pets, raucous parties, more than 6 tenants without homeowners' approval, smoking inside the home, etc.
