In the heart of Portland's Alberta Arts! This beautifully built, custom home is just a couple of houses (not blocks!) off of Alberta Street making it central to the Alberta Arts neighborhood. Walk to Salt and Straw, Pine State Biscuits, Bollywood Theater, Little Big Burger, Barista Coffee and so many more of the unique restaurants and shops this special neighborhood has to offer.

We are also close to a killer grocery store (New Seasons) the airport (15 mins), downtown (10 mins), the convention center (10 mins), Williams and Mississippi St (5 mins) , the Max public transportation line, and a bike rental shop. It is the perfect home base to come and play in Portland Oregon :)

*Unique layout. The master bedroom, great room and kitchen are on the second level. The remaining 3 bedrooms are on the main floor (first level).

*60" Smart TV, Full Cable w/HBO, Blue Ray DVD, fast wireless internet.

*Large front load Washer & Dryer.

*Shampoos, soaps, towels, ironing board and a hair dryer provided

*1.5 hours from adventures to Mt. Hood, Helens and the Oregon Coast.


* 9 adults (maximum).

* Check-in: 4pm

* Check-out: 11am (minimal check-out procedures are posted at the home).

*No smoking in the house OR on the roof.

*10:00pm quite hours on the weekend and 9pm on weekdays.

* No parties or auxiliary gatherings of any kind.

* No pets.

*Parking: The first should be parked in the reserved driveway spot. Street parking is available for the second vehicle. If more than two vehicles, third to be parked in close by non-residential areas. Parking is almost always easy to find.

*Two night minimum on weekends.

*Three night minimum for holiday weekends and summer

*1 week minimum for Thanksgiving and Christmas

* Cancellation: full refund provided if cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival date.


We are one block away from the 17 bus line that takes you to the Pearl District and Downtown. We are very close to excellent bike rental shops and bicycle corridors that take you downtown safely and in true PDX style! If you plan to have a car, it is very easy to park at the Villa and to get Downtown or anywhere else in Portland you wish to go.

Caleb and I come from Ohio. So sure, we love Ohio - but love the PNW more. We are thankful that we now call Portland our home.

For fun - we hike A LOT, spending time in the forests with our dog around Mt Hood, in the Gorge, or on the coast. I enjoy practicing yoga and am a certified yoga teacher. Caleb plays and loves ice hockey.

We aim to be super considerate and delightful guests when we rent and to provide a clean, rad home when we host.

Beautiful house for a weekend getaway!!

We were a large group out for a weekend trip in Portland and this house was perfect! Great location- close to groceries, things to do, restaurants, etc. Catie was just amazing and super flexible and got us everything we needed right away!

Good Time

We had nice time. Only downside was parking but that was not a huge issue. Alberta Arts is a nice area filled with restaurants and small shops.

Owner's Response: We are glad you had a good time! For parking - We have a reserved driveway spot, so 1 car always has a space to park. Most homes in Portland neighborhoods do not have garages or reserved parking at all, so we feel very lucky to have a designated spot for our guests to park! One additional car can be parked on the street. Alberta is a bustling and active neighborhood, which is great! Of course with this, access to street parking can vary. We noticed it was a bit tighter over the NYE holiday time, however there is typically ample room on the street :)

Even better than expected

The home looks just as great as the photos. Very spacious, wished the weather was nicer so we could enjoy the roof top patio but it was cold and raining. Location was also great. Ramen joint literally around the corner, convenience store and donut shop across the street, bar across the street and many more restaurants and bars nearby walking distance. Catie was very attentive and replied within the hour. Would highly recommend and would rent again

Our group of eight (parents and adult children couples) enjoyed the proximity to all that Alberta Street has to offer. We were in town for basketball tournament at MODA and Veteran's, and it was very easy to get over to the MAX station to get downtown without parking fees. Portland Villa was spacious, spotless, airy and has many large upper and clerestory windows to let lots of natural light in (despite characteristic fall rains). Off street parking for one vehicle, provision of three oversize umbrellas, all the kitchen accessories you would need (though why eat in when you are in Portland?) were a plus. I made a glitch in my reservation, and Catie was very accommodating in working it out. It was easy to get downtown but nice to be outside the downtown bubble. This also made airport access quick and easy, as almost everyone had to be ferried to and from airport at a different time.

All instructions for check-in, check-out, appliance use, TV, Wifi were clear and effective.

Take a Chance on this One!

We loved this place! This house located in the Albert Arts District seemed a bit off the beaten path, which we loved! It felt like we were living in Portland and not just vacationing there. It was very clean and easy to access. The rooftop deck was fun for all 7 of us to enjoy our glasses of wine, as was the large living room area inside. Catie and Caleb were easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. The only drawback to the place was having only 2 bathrooms, but we knew this when we rented the place.
