About this property

Le Coste (Orvieto) suggestive panorama, private garden, swimming pool on the farm

The independent farmhouse is located in the "La Polverosa" estate in a hilly and panoramic position, in an extremely quiet place, in the uncontaminated countryside a few kilometers from Orvieto, in the heart of Tuscia between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany
The furniture is well-kept, reflects the traditional farmhouse of the late nineteenth century, with original furniture. The recent renovation guarantees all modern comforts including wi-fi.
The bright and airy (130 sqm) house is spread over two floors with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, living, dining and kitchen. Antique terracotta floors, chestnut beam ceilings, romantic stone fireplaces will immerse you in the typical atmosphere of a picturesque old Italian country house. The veranda, the barbecue, the sunny garden and the terrace are the many open spaces where you can enjoy the splendid climate of central Italy in every season and where your children can play and adults relax. During summer evenings, moments of relaxation will be enlivened by the dance of fireflies!
The swimming pool, to be shared only with guests of the "La Polverosa" estate, is located in the center of the property and can be reached by car (5 minutes) or on foot, through pleasant country paths (about 2.5 km). Around the pool a large lawn and a large paved area equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs and sunbeds allow guests peace and privacy.
From the company there are many paths immersed in a nature dotted with olive trees, vineyards, fields and woods for walking or cycling. The surrounding area is also rich in natural parks such as the oasis of Alviano, Mount Rufeno and Lake Bolsena.
The area is full of evidence of a centuries-old history with prehistoric and archaeological sites, such as the Etruscan and Roman Orvieto, the theater of Ferento and many others scattered throughout the territory. In the same estate "La Polverosa" there is a site of the Bronze Age and an Etruscan site.
The Cathedral and the Abbey of Orvieto, the charming village of Civita di Bagnoregio, the city of Viterbo with its medieval walls and the palace of the popes, the Park of the monsters of Bomarzo are just some of the jewels reachable by car in a short time through provincial roads little frequented.
Ancient Umbrian, Latium and Tuscan villages, such as Città della Pieve, Todi, Pitigliano, Chiusi, Bolsena, surround the company in a ray, which can also be reached in less than an hour along roads immersed in the countryside.
For fans of typical flavors of the area can be organized on request and oil tasting of wine, from the company's campaign Agricola La Polverosa. Moreover, always on request, you can organize lunches or dinners at home and cooking class in language, both in the farmhouse and in typical places.
For lovers of rafting and canoeing you can be reached within 8 km Lake Corbara where they organize excursions on the river Tiber.
Thanks to the motorway, easily accessible, you can reach Rome, Perugia, Florence in just over an hour.

The house consists of two floors connected by internal staircase.
On the 1st floor, a double / twin bedroom and attached bathroom with shower, a second bedroom with a double / twin bed and a bathroom outside the room with a shower.
Between the two bedrooms a small living room with a large original fireplace of the house, a 2-seater sofa bed, a coffee table, a chest, 2 chairs.
From this floor you can also access the panoramic terrace overlooking the valley, equipped with umbrella, table and chairs in wrought iron.
On the ground floor the living / dining room with fireplace, the kitchen. Double / twin bedroom and bathroom with bathtub with shower.
The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, pantry and table with 8 chairs.
The living / dining room has a sofa, 2 armchairs, a table with 8 chairs, a piece of furniture (for dishes, glasses, etc.), a fireplace, TV and DVD.
Next to the kitchen, in the veranda, a table with chairs offers the possibility to eat outside.

property was far off the road; confusing to get there; dirt roads unmarked; nice house but rustic
dealing with the owner was easy, but the property itself was not as nice as appears in the online materials.

Inverno a Le Coste
No, proprio no! Per noi sì!

Bellissimo!
Consigliatissimo!
