Paradise found!

What a great condo! You can't beat the location with amazing snorkeling right out front in the calm, clear Carribean. The Marriott is only 3 doors down which was convenient for a nice meal out. Also having Subway, Wendy's, and the Dive Supply right across the street was great. Camana Bay is an easy walk too. The condo was very clean offering amazing views and fully stocked with anything you could ever need. We have visited many Islands and I have to say Grand Cayman is the cleanest, safest so far. Just enough to do and the roads are not gridlock like you see at FL beaches. Next time we will stay longer! Thank you so much for sharing.

Nice place!

Very accommodating, had tons of toys for kids to play with and the proximity to beach and views can’t be beat! Showers and bathrooms could use a little updating for what we paid (over spring break) but overall a wonderful stay!

This was an incredible property. The on-site manager Jennifer was great. The condo was wonderful. Everything was in top notch condition. The beach and pool were great. Just a fantastic place!

Really lovely

Great unit, great location. The unit is nicely decorated and renovated. Stocked with plenty of towels, linens, pool toys, plates, cooking utensils, etc. Beautiful ocean view. Loved it!

really great property, great location, well equipped

#42 at Cayman reef resort is a great property. It is well equipped, clean, well decorated plus ideally located. Not sure how it would work with 6 people and only two showers but I was alone so didn't have to worry about that. The apartment is well kitted out in terms of kitchenware, towels. Two hairdryers. Decent size and quality TV's. Good Wifi.

One of the best low-key resorts on Seven Mile Beach

This was our first time at a VRBO. Here is my summary:

Liked/loved about this condo:

- The location is incredibly ideal. Some great restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walk and a great location on the beach. Head north for a great 1 hour walk past the Ritz and Westin.

- The low attendance on the beach. BUT even with the signs and warnings, people DO absolutely get up early and save seats with a towel, especially the guests staying there for weeks on end. On the bright side, if you walk to the hotels - they have 4 rows of chaos.

- Designated parking space for each unit.

- Our unit #42 was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the beach and sunsets. The 3rd balcony in from the beach.

- Access to a washer and dryer was really nice!

- Newly remodeled kitchen was nice.


- The door going outside unit #42 was hard to close while leaving. You need to manually push the lock in to get it to shut. They should replace this before a future guest breaks the door trying to close it.

- It's challenging to pull out leaving the condo complex via car. Blind spots galore - be careful.

- When we arrived, there was someone in our parking spot, we had to put out our own toilet paper/soap, the conditioner was clogged in the larger bathroom, etc. I know, picky, but after a 4:30 a.m. wake up and 12 hours of traveling...

- Truly follow through on your rule of no saving seats for more than one hour. Guests that are there for longer holidays leave their seat with just a towel for 4 - 5 hours and no one came to remove them as the sign said. For those only there for a few short days, this was frustrating.

Overall, we're very happy with our choice to stay at #42 at Cayman Reef Resort over the hotels. The hotels were BUSY, and drinks were insanely expensive at the hotels. We had our own drinks on a non-busy beach, the beach itself has some great swimming to offer, location was perfect, and our unit was very well kept. Highly recommended #42.

I accept payment through VRBO/HomeAway, PayPal, Debit/Credit card and Check/Bank transfer (if within the US). Contact me to ask about savings.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival, 90 days prior to arrival for Christmas holiday bookings. Deposits are non-refundable.

Maid service is provided twice weekly for a 7 night stay (except Sundays and holidays) and again after check out. If you require maid service more regularly we can provide it at an additional cost of $35 per maid service cleaning.

A 13% Cayman Islands government tax applies to all rentals, plus service fee. Guests will also be charged for the CC fees which will be included in the total. The booking confirmation sent to you after reserving your dates will summarize your charges.

HomeAway/VRBO offers travel insurance and Damage Protection Insurance. Please contact them for further information.
