This character terraced cottage, originally part of a stone barn is set just one mile from Barlow, near Chesterfield, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Rumblings 2 is a character terraced cottage, originally part of a stone barn, set just one mile from Barlow, near Chesterfield, and can sleep four people. There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for one car and an outside seating area with a bench. Rumblings 2 is a lovely base for your holiday.

Amenities: Electric storage heaters with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, private washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Additional parking available in lay-by approx 100 yards from property on a first come, first served basis. Outside seating area with bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: This cottage can be booked with Refs. 12587 and 939316, together they sleep 13.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: The historic market town of Chesterfield acts as the gateway to the Peak District, and has much to offer visitors. The town is famous for its 14th Century church with "Crooked Spire", twisting curiously from its true centre, while the frequent bustling market days are ideal for exploring the many different specialist shops and stalls which line the old Market Hall and charming Shambles beyond. The town also boasts Queens Park, with its boating lake, walks and summer bandstand, as well as a museum and theatre. An interesting base for a break exploring the Peak District.

Great location for Derbyshire...
Mostly well appointed, generally clean but noticed a piece of cereal on the floor of a type we didn't use and the stair carpet is tired and needing attention. Otherwise sound and handy for the fresh air pursuits that the peaks have to offer
