In a beautiful, unspoilt area of Southern France our 4 bedroomed house is on the edge of the village of Belcaire on the Plateau de Sault in the Eastern Pyrenees Foothills.

The village has a small supermarket,bakery,butchers,health centre,vet, hotel/restaurant, an indoor climbing wall, a swimming lake with adjacent children's play area, tennis courts and boules court . There are several circular walks start from the village as well as many others in the immediate location.

This area has everything for holidays at all times of the year. It is a perfect walking location with amazing views and many varieties of wild flowers and birds. There are walks to suit all walkers from local strolls to challenging mountain walks.


The comfortable well-equipped house is ideally suited for a relaxing or active holiday at all seasons of the year. It is situated on a very quiet lane at the edge of the village with lovely views from every window.


In the kitchen is a fridge/freezer,gas cooker, microwave,toaster,slow-cooker and dishwasher. Plenty of china,glasses,pot and pans.


Open plan with the kitchen there is a dining table and chairs,comfortable lounge furniture, a T.V. (satellite dish) with English and French channels and a DVD player with selection of DVD's. There is a wood burner that heats the house by hot air vents but there are additional electric heaters in all rooms to use in winter. Patio doors lead to the Breakfast Terrace.


One with king-size bed, two with double beds and the fourth with two single beds. All have wardrobes, cupboards, bedside tables and lamps. A cot and high chair are also available.


There is a large open area with a table and chairs and lounge furniture. Books, toys and games are available. The television upstairs is for playing videos.


There are two bathrooms.

The upstairs bathroom has bath,shower,shaver point and w.c. Downstairs is a shower room and also a separate w.c.

Linen and "indoor" towels are supplied but please bring own swimming towels.

The washing machine and tumble dryer are upstairs.


There is a south facing BREAKFAST TERRACE at the front of the house accessed from the lounge

There is a PATIO large paved patio area on the western side of the property with patio furniture and BBQ. Lovely for BBQ's and star gazing.

Why Sylvia Smith chose Belcaire

We wanted a property that all our family could enjoy for holidays. We are all keen walkers so this area was ideal. We also wanted an area where our grandchildren could learn to ski. The house is ideal for summer holidays as it enjoys Mediterranean sunshine in the day but is cool at night. There is a lake in the village where you can swim. We wanted a reasonably modern house which did not need serious renovation.
