Hidden rural retreat
A truly wonderful, hidden gem nestled on the side of a hill with fabulous views. The house is extremely well equipped and Matt & Sally were the perfect hosts. So many extra little touches to make our stay perfect and the pool was glorious - even in February! We’ll definitely be going again!

Traumhafte Tage in einem wundervollen Haus.
Die private Atmosphäre in dem schönen und komfortablen Haus haben wir sehr genossen. Wenn wir nicht am und im Pool lagen, haben wir die wunderschöne Umgebung erkundet. Silves bietet ein tolles Altstadt-Flair, bis zu den Atlantik-Stränden sind es nur 25 Auto-Minuten. Dieser Urlaub ist kaum zu toppen.

Beautiful retreat
Stayed for seven nights with our three children (13,16,16). Villa was very, very clean and had absolutely everything we needed (and more) and was in a spectacular location - high up on the side of a hill along a remote dirt track. It really gave us the feeling of genuine escape with the only other house hidden further up the hill about 80 meters away and virtually out of sight. The pool is a stand out feature and was used everyday. Obviously a car is pretty much a necessity and we enjoyed grabbing a kid free coffee in Silves (15 mins) most mornings. The stunning Algarve beaches are no more than 30 mins away so we enjoyed them as well. All in all we can't recommend this place enough. Great comms from the owners and also we had a helpful visit from their villa rep. Would love to return. Sam and family (Somerset, UK)

Lovely Villa, lovely location.
A really nice Villa in an excellent location. The pool is really nice as are all the rooms. There is a lovely little town 15 mins up the road with a superb amount of restaurants a castle and most importantly a branch of lidl. Beaches and water parks in easy driving distance. There is an awesome host called Julie whilst you are there who can answer all questions. We would go again.

The views from the villa's terraces, pool and garden truly are breathtaking! It feels like you're in your own peaceful private paradise with nothing but fresh air, the Algarvian countryside and uninterrupted views down to the sparkling blue ocean. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax: you wake up each morning and take a look at that view and any troubles just melt away. Get in the car though, and you are within minutes of fabulous restaurants, live music venues, bars, golf courses, water parks, beaches and shopping malls. It's the ideal balance for the perfect family holiday. This is a home that we look forward to coming to spend time in and we hope that you will enjoy coming to experience it for yourself.

The food, wine, beaches and culture of Portugal are simply wonderful. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making this a delightful place to spend your holiday.

What makes this property unique

Staying here provides the complete tranquility that you are looking for on your holiday. The villa benefits from fabulous outdoor areas, with the large pool and roof terraces and the well-tended Algarvian garden all providing wonderful views down to the coast. Inside, the spacious living room is decorated with art work from around the world. The light, bright kitchen is equipped with everything you will need, including that all important dishwasher. The bedrooms are all large and the upstairs master benefits from a newly renovated ensuite bathroom. You will enjoy complete privacy here and yet you are only a few kilometres from the beautiful medieval town of Silves and the lively coastal resorts of Armacao De Pera and Carvoiero.
