Superbly Appointed 2nd floor Apartment in the Heart of the Carre D'Or

This superbly renovated 2nd floor apartment is equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard in a contemporary style with high ceilings. All appliances are new.
The apartment has two bedrooms, the master is a large room with a king size bed, en suite bathroom which has a large walk in shower newly installed in 2022 with a rainhead shower and wc. The second bedroom is a twin, with a built in wardrobe, and en suite bathroom with a large shower and wc. The apartment has air conditioning throughout and all windows are double glazed.
We have installed an open plan kitchen/dining area with a dining table that can seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook, and there is a fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also an iron and ironing board.
There is a balcony to the front of the apartment which has a table and two chairs, perfect for croissant in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening whilst taking in the view of the sea.
The comfortable living area has a TV, DVD player, Bose IPod dock system, Amazon Fire tv stick and Wi-Fi. This part of Nice has 4G, and we are hoping for fibre optic broadband to be installed into the building shortly.
The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the Carre D'Or, which has most of the designer shopping in a pedestrian zone, plus a huge number of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
It is just a few minutes of a walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. The old town and the central railway station are very close and within easy walking distance.
Beach mats are provided but you may wish to bring your own beach towels and inflatables.
This apartment is perfect for a family, and a baby monitor, high chair and travel cot are available, but you would be required to bring bed linen for the cot. An apartment for 4 persons with both bedrooms being en suite is a rare gem, but this makes it absolutely perfect for two couples as well as for a family.

Beautiful two bedroom apartment in Nice
Great property with all the amenities you need. Fantastic location close to the sea close to the train station And near a number of fantastic restaurants and places to visit. This was our second stay at this property and would be happy to stay there again Highly recommended.

A good stay in this Nice apartment
A good apartment, well located (close to beach, not far from train station and tram, shopping very close including good bakery), quiet area for being in a city centre, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Some street noise during the day but bedrooms are on the backside and it is quiet for sleeping. Only negative would be lack of a good reading lights in the living room area. Overhead lighting (including dining room light) and wall sconces are not strong enough for comfortable reading at night. Onsite property manager, Nona, was VERY helpful and responsive Would we rent this property again -- yes. P & B, Ottawa, Canada

Beautiful property, great location
We loved staying at this property in Nice. We were two blocks from the beach and a close walk to everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and had every kind of amenity needed. The check-process was also very easy. Fantastic hosts and a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend it!

Nice Getaway
We stayed in this apartment March 29th - April 7th. The apartment was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is very conveniently located for the tram (Alsace-Lorraine), the railway station and Promenade des Anglais. Nona met us at the apartment and was very pleasant and helpful. She checked to see if there was anything she could help us with the next day and went beyond what we expected. There are several supermarkets within easy walking distance, also many coffee shops and restaurants. All in all an excellent vacation. Many thanks to Louise and Gerard for sharing their wonderful apartment with us. We hope to return soon.

We are a Scottish family who have travelled a lot, but always had a love of France and particularly Nice.
So when the opportunity arose to have our own place in the Carre D'Or, and be able to renovate it to a high standard it was ideal. We hope those who stay in our apartment can share in the beautiful experiences that Nice has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Our apartment, in the heart of the Carre D'Or, is in a perfect location, whether for arriving, departing and everything in between. From the airport the nearest tram station to our apartment is Alsace Lorraine and the central railway station is only a few minutes walk. This gives you access to the Cote D'Azur hassle free and cheaply. If coming by car, parking is not too difficult as there are many parking spaces, underground car parks and our apartment has a quiet street behind it where it is often possible to park.
The apartment has been completely renovated and fully equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard in a contemporary style with high ceilings throughout. We have installed new super quiet air conditioning and there is double glazing in all rooms. The balcony is especially nice for morning coffee and croissants, and you are able to see the sea.
The apartment is perfect for a young family, as there is a high chair, baby monitor and travel cot available, and the layout is suitable for different sleeping times. The fact that the apartment has two bathrooms is great too, with a large walk in rainhead shower in the master which has been upgraded in 2022 and a large rainhead shower in the twin bathroom it gives people super facilities. The master bedroom has a king size bed, with the twin having two standard singles that can be pushed together if required.

What makes this property unique

We have renovated this apartment to a very high standard and everything is new, hopefully giving trouble free living in the most exclusive part of the city of Nice, the Carre D'Or!
