Adorable, Authentic 1872 Cottage Studio Apartment

Tiny Cottage 537 has it all! Private laundry, a kitchen, comfortable Queen bed and most importantly an authentic Savannah historic district home in a great walkable location!

You can easily walk to Clary's Cafe or Firefly Cafe both are barely 2 blocks from the home. There are literally hundreds of other restaurants within 0.5 to 1 mile of this address!

Part of a historic railroad worker's cottage 'triplex' compound (this is not near active train tracks don't worry) this cottage has a shared yard space with walkway to Jones Street. There is no shared interior space in this rental, so you will have plenty of privacy.

This is a great spot for someone without a car. If you have a car, parking for this cottage is free on the street (Jones Street). This location is half a mile from the Riverfront.

I may be able to reduce fees paid if you pay in one lump sum.

Why Mary Anderson chose Beach Institute

I chose Savannah because of the big city feel of the events and tourist traffic combined with a small town sense of knowing people everywhere I go. I love the beauty of the relatively tiny one-square mile walkable downtown Historic District area. I love the familiarity of everything here combined with the constant influx of new energy from the college and the visitors from all over the world.

What makes this studio unique

I have never seen anything quite like this Historic District cottage compound! What a great opportunity to help me meet the housing needs for the 12 million tourists + executive housing phone calls I get daily. And since I used to live on the same block I knew first hand this was a great location. I get calls every day from people who do not need a lot of space and want convenient lodging in the Historic District with a low price. This is it!

Cute and convenient!

Great little cottage, loved being in the historic district! Can walk almost everywhere and a short drive to Tybee. Had a great time and nice to have a washer/dryer too! Only regret is I couldn't stay longer!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. My only complaint is that the shower was too small. We loved staying down town and feeling like a local. Make sure you're ok with long walks to eat/sight see because it's about 20-25 minutes to river street.

This little cottage is so adorable. It is close to all the restaurants and stores. It was very clean when we arrived. The cottage had everything we might need including a DVD player which was neat. Would highly recommend this place. The renter Mary is very sweet and accommodating. Thanks!!
